I’m in Oskaloosa today for a craft fair inside the mall. I went down to order a small taco pizza for my lunch. I took it to go. The blonde lady working the register – AMAZING! She was so sweet and kind! I wish I would have gotten her name (or looked at her name tag). She made sure my food was made quickly and she took very good care of me while I waited. I would go here a thousand times as long as she was the one working. Wonderful lady, she deserves the praise. Also, food was great!

We were excited to try here again with the good reviews and new management. We were very disappointed. 3 employees were sitting behind the counter when we arrived around 4:45. The buffet was not stocked at all. They kept putting out supreme pizza when they would put out a pizza. It was a little difficult to find a clean table ones that had been bussed hadn’t been wiped off. We were there for over an hour and no one bussed or wiped down tables in our area. There was a table that was full of dishes from a group that had left before us and they didn’t clean it off until we were leaving. They forgot to bring us the pizzas we ordered. It was just a really bad experience and we won’t be going back.

We came in to eat dinner just before 6:00 pm, it was around $55 for me and 2 other people to eat (which i do see as reasonable since its a buffet), but the food was cold and it honestly just wasn’t enjoyable. I don’t love leaving negative reviews but the food we got just wasn’t worth the money paid. It honestly seemed like the employees were trying to close early even though the place doesn’t close until 8:00 pm. I have been to this place before and it wasn’t as bad, so this could have been a one time thing. I’m definitely not trying to say to not come to this place, maybe just look at the buffet first to see if the food looks warm. There was nothing wrong with the employees, just the food being less than great.

My 93 mother absolutely loves this place. Me however, do not care for it at all. My husband and mom loved the fried chicken and ate there share of it. I do not eat fried food. So I hit the salad bar. It was OK. No balsamic vinegrette dressing. The pizza was not good, the sauce taste like tomato paste. Very disappointed. We were visiting from out of town.

While being short staffed and a busy lunchtime, the three ladies there stepped up to the plate and got it done! They did so well that I had to stop before I left and tell them so. I’d personally hire all three of them away from pizza ranch. Threw all the stress of it, they were all friendly and courteous to the customers. Noon on a Sunday and the pictures are what was on the buffet. Asked if they were bringing more out and the kid at the counter said yes in about 5 minutes. Which ended up being about 15-20 minutes and even then they only brought out a pepperoni a cheese and a buffalo chicken pizza to the buffet. Told him this selection wasn’t worth $54 for 3 adults and a kid. Was there around 40 minutes and the buffet looked like this the whole time. They did end up bringing out a small pan of broasted chicken about 5 minutes before we left so I managed to snag a leg. This has been the experience the last 3-4 times I’ve been there so needless to say I give up on them. I’ll spend a little extra and go across the street to taso’s and get something fresh and worth the money.

We reserved a banquet room for a birthday celebration. Making the reservation was easy. Once we got there the young lady at the register did a great job with our order & processing how many of the different age ranges we had for payment. The room worked really good for us. The pizzas we ordered were out quickly and everything tasted great.

This place is honestly trash. first of all, (not a huge deal to me but might be to someone else) on monday you get buffet for $10.99. I was still charged $16.04. Another employee told the one at the register about the deal, the employee at the register shrugged it off just saying she forgot and still charged me the $16.04! I just said whatever continued on. We got to the buffet, all the pizza looked like it had been sitting there for at least an hour (pepperoni and 1 other kind i’ll post a photo). Breadsticks were the only thing fresh, mashed potatoes were fine, I was scared to even try the chicken after seeing everything else.. This place used to be good, but after my experience today I probably will never come back. Do better!

The chicken was raw in the middle. Hopefully nobody gets sick in my party because they ate the skin off of their piece of chicken. The cook in the back got mad when my son took of everybodys chicken which I thought was really rude.

When we arrived, there was a delivery person for one of the employees, and they had told us that they rang the doorbell four or five times, and had to yell into the back 3 times before someone came up to help us. The drink machine was leaking and one employee put a tray underneath of it and walked away. Then there were two highschool aged kids that came in to.get their food and it did not appear that they paid. The employees were joking with them as they were getting their food as well. In the females bathroom (second hand knowledge here) there was no paper towels, there were also none in the males restroom but there was a air blowing machine. The ice cream machine was also leaking onto the floor and noone did anything about it.
