We were thrilled to see a new breakfast spot in Northern Kentucky and finally made it to French Toast Heaven today around 10:30 a.m. Upon entering, we noticed a sign mentioning a potential 35-minute wait, which made us a bit nervous. However, with no pressing plans, we decided to stay and enjoy the time together—and we’re so glad we did!
Our server, Donny, was exceptional—outgoing, communicative, and genuinely personable from start to finish. He made our experience even more enjoyable.
As for the food, everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic. The salmon was flaky, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. But the true standout? Their chicken wings! The subtle lemon pepper flavor and crispy, tender texture made them unforgettable. In fact, our daughter loved them so much, she could’ve starred in a commercial for them!
The entire staff was warm and welcoming, the restaurant was clean, and the food arrived sooner than we expected, despite the initial wait time warning. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for amazing breakfast options in the area. Highly recommend!

This was my first time here, and I found the food delicious and wait staff friendly and attentive. The waitress even took the time to explain what some of the menu items were. I ended up with the Chef Maurice Breakfast (2 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, protein of choice, and breakfast potatoes). everything was cooked just right, and the potatoes had the right amount of seasoning.

We ordered catering from French Toast Heaven for Thanksgiving, and overall, it was a great experience. Our order included a smoked turkey, baby back ribs, 50 smoked wings, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. The meat was tender, flavorful, and 100% delicious, though we didn’t detect much of the expected smoky flavor. The serving sizes were generous and more than enough for first and second helpings for our family of 6.
The macaroni and cheese was the star of the show and quickly became a fan favorite. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned, but unfortunately, they were a bit gritty.
The ordering and pickup process was smooth and well-organized, complete with clear reheating instructions that made serving everything a breeze. If they offer Thanksgiving catering again next year, we’ll definitely consider ordering. It was such a relief to focus on just a few of our signature dishes while trusting them with the rest.

My partner and I had breakfast this morning, and we have been thinking about that meal all day long—it was that good. He got the chicken wings and strawberry cheesecake French toast. I had the Maurice Breakfast. Everything was delicious! Great service, too. We got there at around 8:45am and it wasn’t busy. We left around 9:45-10am and business seemed to really pick up by that time.

The first thing I must say is WOW… INCREDIBLE. Me and my partner went 2 days in a row because there were so many things we wanted to try and Denarra was an amazing server we just had to come back and see her. Walking in on a Saturday morning at 9am we had zero wait (I don’t know how). We started with the original fried catfish and French toast. We both grew up in the south and when I tell you it is the best catfish I’ve ever had… I mean it! The second day we got the shrimp and grits, biscuit and gravy, and the icing on the cake… fried chicken and French toast. We were warned as to how good the chicken was but I was not prepared for just how serious she was. It was INCREDIBLE, and I will come back simply for the chicken alone. The grits were perfect without being too much and the biscuits and gravy were more than delicious. All in all an incredible experience of great food and great services. I don’t know how it’s not busier!

We had the French toast flight with PB&J, Cookies & Cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors. We also had biscuits & gravy, potatoes & onions, and the sausage patties. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! Service was great! Also the music was great. We will definitely be back! So glad Newport has another locally owned business!

First time here, and it was delicious. I had the Pete rose breakfast. French toast, eggs, and extra crispy goetta. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Goetta was delicious. French toast was in fact, heaven. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great spot for when you want your breakfast to be right.
