We got here noon today(July 09).
We should have kept driving because the parking lot only had 3 vehicles in it and noon is supposedly right at the peak of the lunch rush.
There were 7 total people in the dining room, including ourselves.
The food that was available to eat was old and near room temperature. What there was to eat anyway. See pictures.
We asked the manager where the chicken, pizza, and the rest of the food was. Her response was “We have chicken cooking and we just put 2 pizzas out.”(This was after I took pictures)
One pizza was pepperoni with no sauce, just cheese and pepperoni(see last photo). The other was a BBQ bacon pizza.
Still no fresh chicken, breadsticks, or cheesesticks.
The staff was not too concerned about anything as they were too busy talking in the kitchen. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean. Especially the kitchen from what I could see.
We informed the manager this was THE worst Pizza Ranch(even worse than the one in Cedar Rapids and Vinton) we had ever been to and requested our money back.
We got our refund and left.
Corporate needs to visit this place and yank their franchise.
The health department needs to visit this place too. The food at room temperature and the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Came to lunch and only 6 tables ranging from 2 to 4 patrons (we were the only table of four: a 2 year old, an infant, and us parents). There was no food at the buffet after our first round through and it took an additional 15-20 minutes for anything to get put out, which was three pizzas. No salad was put out, and chicken was finally replenished when we were about to leave. This was on Saturday August 9th.

I ordered a two breast chicken dinner for carryout. When I got my dinner home, all it contained was two chicken breasts and an order of mashed potatoes and gravy. The menu says a two breast chicken dinner comes with two chicken breasts, coleslaw, a biscuit and a choice of potatoes. I only got half my meal. I called and was offered a credit but I said no, I want what I paid for and I want it delivered! They agreed and I got the second half of my dinner 45 minutes later! Not acceptable! If I could give this a 0 star rating, I would!

Very disappointed! I ordered white meat, 4 piece dinner. Breast, wing, thigh & leg- greazy. Potatoes were thick & tasteless with a bit of yellow bullion flavored gravy. No thanks on your rewards!!

The manager here is great! She always has a smile on her face and attentive to her customers. She is always asking if we want a pizza made at the buffet. He staff always have a smile also. You can tell the owner has developed a culture that makes it fun to work there.

Order takeout ordered four breast and four legs potato wedges they told us they were out of potato wedges so I ordered a single potatoes and gravy went to pick it up told them that I ordered four breasts and four legs and had to wait got back to my group and the potatoes had come open and ran all over the bag opened up the box there was two wings,
two backs and three breast can you imagine how disappointing it was for the kid that only got a back and the one that only got a wing. Very disappointed.

AMAZING!! Just as I was loosing faith in the work ethic and ability of the next generation to be quality employees, I was given hope by this Pizza Ranch.
I worked a 14 hour day and had a 3 hour drive home that started after 8pm. I’m not from the area so I didn’t realize how few options there are for food along this stretch of highway 20.
Basically, I realized at 8:30 that I had a choice between Pizza Ranch and Casey’s. I was 32 minutes from Pizza Ranch and they close at 9 but I called to see if there was any chance of getting a pizza. The young man who answered was respectful, kind, and willing to close a few minutes late so that I could get a pizza WITHOUT knowing my situation.
When I arrived, the pizza was hot, made exactly like I had asked, and delicious. I wish I had caught his name so I could give him a shoutout here. But I am very impressed. Great job!!

Was there about sixthirty. Your open till 9 but got told nothing would be added to buffet. There we 8 of us. And only half a pizza ask for a pizza got told it would not be cooked potatoes were dry gravy was burnt. 5 pieces of chicken. There we 4 or 5 other people in the place too. Noone picked up our dirty plates. No ice cream in the machine. Just highly disappointed. And Noone cared that we were up set.

Arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night and there was one pizza on the buffet. 90% of the food on the buffet had clearly been sitting there for a while. Lettuce was frozen, pizza was hard as a rock, chicken was slimy and gross. We special ordered 3 pizzas and only received 2 before giving up and leaving. A majority of the staff was standing around in the back messing around the whole time we were there.

The broasted chicken is always delicious. The pizza and other food options were at a good temperature and taste. The employees were upbeat and courteous. The dining area could use a deep cleaning including the carpeted floor.
