Very very disappointed.. the food had been sitting out and everything was hard. Very little selection even though we were there at 5p. Not only that, there were GNATS EVERYWHERE! Flying around the salad bar and on top of the food dead.. we even had gnats flying around our table.

Best Pizza Ranch we have visited. Salad bar has a variety of options, including pickled herring!. 3 kinds of chicken are available – fried, BBQ, and chicken strips. Staff was very attentive without hovering. Will definitely stop here again on our way through

Visited for dinner -Dirty floors and unclean tables. Bathrooms were not clean at all nor have they ever been

They must not know how to change grease or abide by food shelf times Young girl working register spent all the time we were there in the kitchen we had to look up the number and call to get help……would not recommend to anyone….wasn’t worth what we paid at all…..we will be visiting mexican restaurant across the street next time

We (three senior couples) met for lunch and spent three hours in the otherwise unoccupied party room visiting. This is in lieu of our New Years Eve party; none of us like to stay up until midnight anymore. We do this in January each year. We live some distance apart and Pizza Ranch works perfectly for us.

we stopped at pizza ranch on a road trip and had the best time! the service was excellent, everyone was so nice. the cookie cake, pickles, and the cheesy bread were delicious. totally recommend 🙂

Ate there yesterday. Without a doubt, the worst Pizza Ranch buffet experience we’ve ever had. Very little pizza out, and no new ones put out during our visit at 1 pm. Only a few pieces of chicken offered and it took a 30 min. wait for more. Salad was wilted old lettuce. Chili had almost no meat. Some sodas empty, and when reported, stayed empty for our entire visit. The chocolate ice cream didn’t taste right. We usually love Pizza Ranch but will avoid this location in the future.

Pizza Ranch at Story City was fantastic! The staff was incredibly kind, always smiling, and made me feel so welcome. They worked hard to keep the buffet fully stocked and the restaurant spotless. The food was delicious—crispy, juicy chicken, flavorful pizzas with perfect crusts, fresh salads, and creamy soft-serve ice cream. Everyone was attentive, and the warm, family-friendly vibe made it special. I can’t wait to return!
