Parents… game machines are right at entrance. They are $1 each play. They accept $1, $5 and change I believe. Just prepare your kids for whatever you plan to let them do or not do. Just a heads up… stay strong
Ice cream machine was working, FYI. They asked us what pizzas we wanted when we arrived and brought them out to us to get the first slices before they put them on the buffet. Bathroom was nice. Staff were nice. They came and cleared our table part way through our stay. They brought out fresh food to the buffet multiple times throughout our visit.
I did find a spoon that felt dirty. I just left it on our table to be cleaned again when it got cleared. High chairs look a little dirty. If I’m being picky, the restaurant looked like it could use some deep cleaning but it was okay.

A great place to stop on our long road trip! Delighted to find extended buffet hours with our late afternoon lunch stop AND hot and fresh food with a great variety!! Friendly and attentive staff, clean and tidy dining area and restrooms! 10/10 experience!!

It is a great place with lots of alternatives not only in pizza but in chicken, salads, desserts and drinks. It is affordable and you are going to leave satisfied for sure. I would only recommend they would have more dessert quickly available so one does not have to wait too much for a second dish.

The Grinnell Pizza Ranch is operating on another level. Their service was great; not just when we ordered and paid but also once we were seated and eating. Also, I have dietary restrictions, so they made me a gluten free pizza!

Food was good. Floors were super sticky where the buffet was. Carpeting was extremely filthy and covered in trails of food and crumbs and trash. Most of the tables were clean with garbage and food and crumbs underneath. Most likely would not go back here.

Holy wow. This place was incredible. As first timers in Iowa, we weren’t sure where to eat and what even was available for a handful of vegetarians – but this place was IT and then some.
We went on May 21st, and we were greeted by 2 men at 8:40 pm. They let us know the buffet was closing shortly but essentially implied “take as much as you can since we throw out everything at the end of the night anyways” so WE DID (as you can see from our plates. And we were FULL after a 10.5 hour drive, but then they brought out a custom made veggie pizza which we DEVOURED.
An incredible experience for something we thought was a “mom & pop” shop for how nice the host was but happy to find out it’s a chain that exists in our home state!
Fully recommend to all those in the area!

I have been to this pizza ranch a few times at different times of day and same story every time either no pizza on the buffet or old food that photo is at 12:30 pm the first photo was from just so y’all know the food was good the staff are great
