Update: I received my order over 2 and a half hours later. Delivery guy forgot my soda, so I had to wait for him to come back. Get the phone fixed or ensure there’s a way for customers to reach out to check the status of their orders. I almost hopped on the bus just to get there! Definitely still leaving this at one star. The PN on 43rd would never!

I decided to call this location to check on the status of my order, and the phone call never went through. It just made a dialtone noise. On Saturday, August 12, 2023, I ordered the lasagna special. However, I didn’t state I wanted the special . I JUST ASSUMED if you order lasagna on today, it would be the special. You didn’t state you wanted the special the stuff member said with a disrespectful tone. The rude staff wanted to charge me an extra $2 to add meat that is normally with the meal. I question the staff about the up charge . As a result, I was asked to leave and never come back by the manager because I am always rude, which is not true . I should have been given the meat on the side. No extra money. I no longer recommend the pizza Nova restaurant on palaski. The staff is unethical. If you order food that happens to be a special price that day, you should always be given the special price. You shouldn’t have to state I want the special. That is what happened in my case . The cashier should have asked me if I wanted the special with or without meat. That is goog customer service .
On another Saturday, I had the Lasagna special with sausage . It comes with a small salad and garlicbread. No salad dressing. You must pay extra for it. The garlic bread is extremely small. The meal was delicious.

Wow, just wow. Your customer service is really really missing the mark. A couple of weeks ago your big guy behind the counter was so rude. Then today after ordering over the phone the young lady hung up on me I said thank you have a great day after she asked anything else and I get a click with a loud bang… wow!! Not the first time either. You know restaurants everywhere are getting so expensive, that bad customer service just makes the decision for us to take out the crock pot and cook at home. I didn’t order attitude with my pizza. After today I sincerely doubt I’ll be back sooner rather than later. Wow… by the way you’re thin crust pizza is too thick, needs salt and your sauce is too sweet and your fries are always cold.

The GIRL that answers the phone for orders has no idea what she’s doing. I repeated my order MULTIPLE times however she still managed to get it wrong when delivered. They offered to make me a new pizza with my correct order and again, they still got it completely WRONG so we had TWO pizzas that got messed up and we didn’t end up getting our correct order at all. Our order was very SIMPLE and there should be no reason why they made the same mistake twice. Also, after calling pizza nova multiple times, they refused to answer my number and when they did they just hung up. I had to use another number to finally get ahold of them which was frustrating because they purposely weren’t answering the phone.

I got the rib tips and they were absolutely monstrous. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Absolutely gross. In case anyone wants rib tips, here you go. Greasy disgusting dried jerky like pieces with absolutely no meat on them. Will never come here again. This place should be ASHAMED to be serving this garbage, but they’re not. I love ordering or dining in with my family. It has been a go to place since I was young. The Broasted chicken is one of my favorites with the right kind of hot sauce and yum!!!! Great neighborhood pizza place with plenty of dishes and food specials that changes every day of the week. They have a regular crust pizza, deep dish pizza, pizza by the slice, hot dogs, wings, broasted chicken, beef sandwiches and lots of other delicious food items. They are in the process of expanding their place and it’s going to be huge once it’s complete. They are finally going to have a big dining room with plenty of tables for your convenience. If you’re in the area stop by and you’ll be surprised with how good and affordable this place is.
