Love Pizza Nikko’s, especially their “All Dressed, with Bacon and Onion”. It’s ready for pick-up in 15 minutes after ordering it!! I live outside the delivery area, so I always go pick it up. I grew up on the West Island, in the 70s, where you had Tevere’s and Romano’s. This is in that style, but elevated. Much more cheese, much more toppings. Great pizza everytime.

Great job Nikkos pizza once again.
Ordered a med. all dressed, thick crust, well done.. Delicious! The crust is usually thicker but not a deal breaker.. sauce on point, not acidic, generous toppings (esp. the cheese).. As for the flop, nothing really considering the weight of this pizza!! Since Nick sold the restaurant, the quality hasn’t changed much..I recommend ! it’s simply “The Best in the West”

Poutine does not come with poutine sauce but with BBQ sauce so that liquid is absorbed very easily and quickly to your fries compared to poutine sauce, making them very mushy very fast. Today, like last time, the first wiff I got from opening the bag was a smell of uncooked potatoes. I never smelled that from any other restaurants. I’ll let you imagine how “well” they are fried.

I took a sub, it tasted blend, and the meat also tasted like it had turned. It was and is always so oily/wet, so it’s really unpleasant to eat. They never give you napkins or ketchup, and if you do ask for some, they forget or give you two ketchup packets and stapple them to the bag.. great thanks, now there’s a ketchup mess, plus your sub is leaking everywhere. I was wondering where the cheese was, its at the bottom of the sub, acting like a layer to solidify the bread?

I remember telling the lady hey burgers tasted funny and she replied with “Well, my husband likes them!” Great, thank you for that very useful information. After a bit of talking she tells me they put some spices or whatever on the meat and that’s when it clicked.

I use to order a meatball lasagna but since a year or two the sauce has gotten really bad and the meatballs always tasted weird, I know why now, they probably put that same weird combination of spices on it.

Last thing, protecting their food during transport is not their strong suit either. 90% of the time, something leaks and the bag is full of sauce, then my fingers are and soon my desk with no napkins or utensils in sight.

Forgot about this, the drivers rings the doorbell, 5 seconds later bashes on my door. I use to deliver and I have never bashed on someones door.

A local favorite for pizza and their sandwiches. The pizza is very good but some may not be accustomed to the pepperoni being under the cheese.

They are very generous with their toppings. The standard level of cheese is more like extra cheese from the big chains. My kids have a hard time eating their pizza as sometimes all the toppings just slide off the base

The steak and pepper sandwich is a good alternative if someone doesn’t want pizza. Lately, the flavour of the sandwich has been off. I’m not sure what’s going on

Tasty old school pizza, friendly staff too – Tracy is the best.
Great affordable lunch menu with plenty of choices to choose from.
Edit: I went mid January 2025, pizza has changed to me it’s not as good. The restaurant has new owners apparently. Also unfortunately Tracy no longer works there – bummer.
Prices are up too.

Pizza Nikkos is hands down one of the best spots in town! Their subs are loaded with flavor always fresh, and perfectly made. And the pizza? Absolutely unbeatable. The crust is spot on, and the sauce is the best I’ve ever had — rich, flavorful, and full of that homemade taste you just can’t find anywhere else. Every bite reminds me why this is my go-to place. Friendly service, generous portions, and quality food every single time. Highly recommended!

“An acquired taste” is what I was told when asking about their Italian sodapop Brio. Seeing the great range of good and bad reviews on here, and my own mediocre experience I feel this “acquired taste” really describes the food here. The friendly and efficient staff are really the stars of this review. But steer clear of the poutine: that acidic gelatinous sauce is not gravy, and those fries are plain gritty. It’s a real sacrilege considering we are in the mecca and homeland of this dish. The stale bread sub was subpar (5 points for me for the pun), but the side mayo is a nice touch. I’ve put the pizza on hold for now – I can only stomach so much… And well, the Brio soft drink is an experience of its own and only for the adventurous or worldly souls : it’s not quite like Dr Pepper as it was suggested but a cross between a goofy white Mr.Freeze popsicle and bitter and lonely Schweppes tonic water. That was the highlight of my order. For the inebriated 3am post-party zombies roaming the streets, this joint will meet your need for carbs, but bad judgement calls is generally part of your program at that point. Not to mention you’ll need to wait a few hours before they open. Bon appétit !

Update: Pizza does the job, even 24hrs later and unrefrigerated it’s holding strong. That’s impressive in itself. Conclusion : stick to the pizza.
