Visited Pizza Marvin after looking up where to find the best pizza in RI, prior to driving through Providence. This place was on quite a few recommendations. Found in a quiet neighborhood, there was a decent amount of local street parking.

We ordered the weenie fries, baked clams, a pepperoni square and a house cheese. The inside is on the smaller side, but there was a bunch of counter seating. There’s a few low tables on the far side of the place, which we scored. Ordering was easy, everyone was friendly and each item was brought to the table as ready.

The fries were great; perfectly crispy curly fries with great celery aioli. The bake clams were good, unremarkable, but good. The square pepperoni slice was fantastic, one of the best crispy crusts I’ve ever had on a thick square slice, 10 out of 10 on taste and bite. The house cheese was very good; great crisp on the bite, heavy on the cheese flavor ( versus the sauce), but in a good way. We enjoyed everything here and will be back for sure. The table next to us ordered the burrata pie and it looked fantastic, very interested to try that next time we’re there.

Overall, this place is solid and definitely recommended. If you end up ordering a round pie, be sure to grab a square slice to taste.

Time after time, Pizza Marvin consistently proves to be the best pizza in New England, hands down. When I’m not eating this pizza and soft serve I’m scheming up a plan to justify driving 2 hours to eat it again. The service is excellent, cocktails are smart, apps never fail, and the rotating flavors of soft serve are a must try.

Truth be told, I’m in it for the ‘Roni Slices. At one point in time, this photo was the lock screen on my phone. The crust is crispy and soft in all the right ways; the sauce tastes like home; and the distribution of perfect little pepperoni cups is sensibly generous.

Just go, go eat some pizza and be thankful that we’re on the planet at the same time as these guys.

Great pizza. They only sell the dense, square slices by the slice. No regular cut pieces by the slice. Still worth it. We also had the Strawberry and Elderflower soft serve cone and it was delicious.

It was a hot day outside, and I’m not sure if the mini splits they had in there were working. It was a little unpleasant to eat with it so hot in there.

Worth stopping by!

If you’re in Providence and haven’t been to Pizza Marvin yet, you’re seriously missing out. We stopped in for a quick bite and were blown away.

Taco Wings – Insane flavor! These wings are crispy, juicy, and dusted with a taco-inspired seasoning that delivers bold, smoky, and spicy notes with every bite. Dunk them in the creamy avocado ranch for the perfect combo.

Pepperoni Pizza – Perfection. The crust is thin, slightly charred, and beautifully chewy, while the pepperoni cups are crispy with just the right amount of spice. This is pizza done right – classic, elevated, and addictive.

The outdoor vibes, fast service, and that red-and-white checker paper make the experience feel both nostalgic and fresh.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Definitely coming back for more!

Loved everything about this place. Definitely liked the Detroit style slice the best but it was all so good. Unique space with crazy movies playing. Great merch! Will definitely be back!

Pizza is amazing! If you can get a slice you won’t be disappointed, they call it Sicilian style. I just look at it like it’s almost a Detroit deep dish pizza. And then they also have New Haven style as a pizza pie, which is the thin floppy kind of pizza. Either way you will not be disappointed. The sauce is on point you get the little pepperoni bowls, and they have amazing beers.

I love this place! The atmosphere and staff are great, and the pizza is FANTASTIC. This place is easily among the best pizzerias in Rhode Island and can go toe-to-toe with any of the New Haven heavy-hitters.

I tried a cheese slice & burrito slice, which were both excellent. The slice pies are made differently than the whole pies – thicker and cooked is a pan (our cheese slice had a little bit of a cheese crown – or fricco – which reminded me more of a Detroit style rather than a Sicilian).

We also tried the roni, Peppers, and hot honey specialty pie…outstanding!

If you are in Providence and in the mood for pizza, you should try this place!!!

If the owners and staff are reading this review, I just want to say THANK YOU for taking the craft seriously and paying attention to the details.

Highly recommend.

Pizza Marvin is an absolute vibe. The pizzas? Out of this world—like, I’m still dreaming about that crust. You can taste the love and creativity in every bite, and the flavor combos are just chef’s kiss. Whether you’re a classic cheese kind of person or down to try something a little wild, they’ve got you covered.

But it’s not just the food—it’s the people. Everyone who works there is so friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. The energy is warm, upbeat, and just makes you want to stay a while. It’s one of those rare spots that hits every note: great food, great people, great vibes.

If you haven’t been yet, go immediately. And bring friends. You’re gonna want to share the love (but maybe not the pizza—no promises).

The burrata pie is the best pie in the state of RI. OMG amazing. It took about 30 minutes for our pizza to come out but it was so worth the wait!

Pizza Marvin in Providence is pure magic. The vibe? Effortlessly cool. The music? Spot on. But the real star—the reason you’ll be thinking about it days later—is the pizza. OMG. That crust is everything: crispy on the outside, soft in the center, perfectly balanced—not too thin, not too doughy. Each bite is packed with bold, fresh flavor that hits just right. Hands down, one of the best spices of pizza I have ever had!!!
