Kind of a hit or miss recently. Tastes the same for the most part, but the past 4 out of 5 orders have been pretty sloppy, or just changing the way they do things I guess. Always get a small deluxe, and every once in a while it’s great, but mostly it’s just a few topping pieces, so you’ll have one slice and it’s basically a cheese pizza overloaded with sauce and one topping crumble, or have a slice with some toppings and no sauce. You can tell the difference in the photos, the first one from a few months ago looks perfect like customers are probably used to with the evenly distributed diced toppings (you can tell I couldn’t wait to eat it lol), but the others just look sad. You can actually count the toppings lol. And I noticed they stopped including the little cardboard circle recently too so the box leaks grease.

I’ve been going to pizza king for strombolis for years.The stromboli that I got tonight was ok at best.The bread was chewy and sauce wasn’t as good as it used to be. I think the old place was much better.The ovens that they used were better and made the bread crisp instead of soggy.I’m not impressed with the new place and it will be a while until I return.

Worst pizza king we have ever had. Did you change the breadsticks? Why do they taste like you get them frozen and put them under a lamp to heat up?
Why is the crust so thick now? The pepperoni is no longer chopped? Not cooked enough to even melt the cheese anymore?
We grew up on pizza king: absolutely loved it and happened to be back in town. So, thought we would get it for dinner. We threw it all away and ate TV dinners instead. That’s how terrible it was.

The new location has changed what we know as a Pizza King stromboli and Texas BBQs! They assume you know they switched to a convection oven since they moved as I was so rudely told on the phone when I called about my meat being crunchy on the strom and Texas bbq (almost burnt) and my stromboli dry (and I always order extra cheese, extra sauce). If people haven’t been to the new location or are from out of town we will not know of this switch which changed your product….to burnt and dry!
I will not return. It’s now awful and a waste of money. So disappointing.

We spent over $60 and had our food delivered to us yes it arrived on time but pizza was sloppy and the top of the box was stuck to the pizza. Our Stromboli’s were Luke warm “not good” bread was tough and breadstick and pizza was cold. Our kids wouldn’t even eat it. Called they offered only 25% of our money back. When we didn’t eat none of it. So we were just out our money and dinner. I don’t recommend. This is at the Pizza King on St.joe Ave Evansville Indiana

The strom was good but the cheesy bread was a joke. I paid like $8 for a 6 inch piece of bread with cheese. They charged me 1.75 for tomato sauce that I didn’t get. Not in a rush to go back at all. The parking lot is very small.

I’m a regular customer and have been for almost 30yrs.Ive watched staff come and go, I’ve watched change of ownership and I’ve watched the relocation… I’ve seen it all rude employees and some of the very best individual’s who I now call friends..
There’s a young lady that work’s mostly night’s,we call her our hippie and she’s not just beautiful on the inside,but on the out..Her name is Valerie and she’s everything a person wants to get outta a pizzaria experience.. She’s always ready to help with a smile and kind word’s..She goes above and beyond to make you feel at home with good friends and food..She has such a warm kind soul and makes one kick-ass Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich…You will leave satisfied EVERYTIME..Not sure what her actual title is,but if you asked me Pizza King St.Joe Ave is her store…That young lady needs a raise and more recantation..Thank you for being wonderful we love you sister

Very uninviting atmosphere, no alcohol, very limited soda and chip selection, sandwich was so/so. No fountain drinks! Was clean, didn’t use facilities, noisy dining area kids seem to enjoy the train that runs around the dining area.
