Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon when driving through this area. We haven’t been to a Pizza King in years so were excited to find this place! Greeted and waited on right away, clean restaurant and the bathroom very clean and decorated cute for Halloween. Ordered bread sticks with nacho cheese to begin with and they were amazing! I ordered water and I will have to say it tasted like chlorine so I didn’t drink it. I would assume it was the local city water and not pleasing to my pallet. We ordered a large pizza to share and were not too thrilled with it. It was dry, as in not enough sauce, and the cheese wasn’t fully melted on top. It was disappointing to us and not the way we remember Pizza King.

Clean booths and high chairs (hard to find!), good fresh food, friendly service. I would’ve like more Lettuce on my Taco “salad” but was given generous meat etc. Really glad we decided to try it for a late lunch.

We they get busy they put you on hold. You can hear everything however no one will take your order. They just set the phone down and ignore you. This has happen twice to me and the owner did it to an another customer when I went for my pizza order a other time. If you can’t handle your busy time, just tell your customers. Don’t be rude and ignore. Must be nice to have enough business to not care about repeat customers. They will not get my money again.

I have loved Pizza King for 50 years, ever since it was in a tiny shop in Danville. The owner back then had trains all around the store and I told him as a little kid it would be great if the train could bring me my pizza…well at least it can bring me my drink!!! Love it!
