Pizza Jerk’s downtown Portland location provides a really special and true-to-Portland experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and uncomplicated, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. But the real star of the show is the pizza, which is seriously delicious. Pizza Jerk uses high-quality ingredients that create fantastic flavors. They offer creative combinations that are different from traditional pizzas, with a crust that’s perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy inside. It’s the perfect base for all their tasty toppings. Besides the amazing pizza, they also have a great selection of local beers, making it an ideal spot to relax and hang out. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes every visit even better. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a fantastic pizza in the downtown area.

Large slice of pizza with quality ingredients for very great price, not to mention they have $2 Freight Beers during happy hour from 3-5PM daily! Now that’s a deal! Convenient location for PSU students as well!

I needed a quick slice of pizza during a conference and found pizza jerk. The first few bites didn’t do it for me and then it got good.
The crust is tough and thick, but crispy and holds the sauce and grease perfectly. The cheese isn’t salty or spicy enough for me but it was really good all together.
It’s the perfect quick slice and about $5 a piece.

Decent NY style slices – big and foldable. Vegan and gluten-free choices too. Not as good as Sizzle Pie imo but closer to my office. Fast counter service – no wait at 1215 on a weekday!

Holy vegan pizza!!! Thin crust and pan pizzas with nine different vegan fresh pizza options, plus a daily vegan slice option for $4.50. We started with a Margherita slice that had 2 different cheeses and was delicious. We ordered the Vegan Super Pie pan pizza (12″) and it was indeed super! Cooked to perfection, balanced spread of toppings, including vegan pepperoni, soy mince, sausage, cashew and vegan ricotta cheeses. Superb, barely finished it between two people. Open all day, also has Jones soda fountain soda.

I hope I get at the top of the reviews stack because I am eating vegan pizza in front of the Teenager Ninja Mutant Turtles poster at Pizza Jerk
I liked going here because it is right along where the trolley bends and the track turns not the trolley. They sell pizza by the slice. The name is funny the staff is laid back. There is no pressure to buy pizza. I did not think they were jerks. There are cool posters on the wall however I do not recall what the posters were likely old vintage movie posters from the 1980s. There are other eateries nearby. I am now going totally vegan, not sure if they have vegan slices here.

This is suppose to be their “Margarita” pizza. It was basically just cheese with bad basil on top. It was super greasy and gave me a stomachs ache. The crust is so rough and tore up the top of my mouth. Atmosphere is good and staff are friendly but pizza is lacking.

I loved the atmosphere and vibe of this place, will definitely be coming back. Pizza was huge and a 1000/10 and the service was awesome. Left with a smile and a full stomach ☺️

First off, I’d like to say that the name is misleading; the workers are all very helpful, the prices are good, and the pizza itself is fresh and full of flavor.
There is a large variety of options for anyone, with much of pizzas being vegetarian and/or vegan. And for those who want something small, you can get a slice for only $4.50, and 2 slices and a drink for $10.50.
Overall, Pizza Jerk is among the best places in Portland I’ve gone to for inexpensive pizza. 5/5
