First time at this location, which is much smaller than Rocky Mount location. It was busy, but we had an awesome waitress named Mary, and she was on top of drinks and always making sure pizzas and things were available we wanted. The food was good, decent salad bar, pasta bar, desert bar and pizza. Lots of choices. Staff was friendly and prices were very reasonable on the weekend. I would recommend this location.

The main thing I go to Pizza Inn for is the chocolate chip desert pizza. The one on the buffet looked extremely undercooked (wet) so my mom and I ordered one to go. We ordered it lightly done. The pizza was straight up liquid when we got it. My mom had them cook it a bit longer, after which it wad no longer runny, but was still extremely wet looking. My mom was told it would solidify as it cooled (it never did). It looks like maybe oil was subbed in place of butter or someone added way too much oil…like 2 cups instead of 2 tbsp. The entire pizza and box were soaked in oil.

This is our local Pizza Inn. And whether we dine in or hit the drive-thru, it’s always great! But the drive-thru has Miss Jackie and she is the sweetest, most helpful lady. She’s extremely kind and just a beautiful person.

The older waitress with the really short hair is extremely rude. Bumped into my husband who was helping his father that has trouble walking and uses a cane. Never said “I’m sorry” and was almost in a run to get into the kitchen. She had plenty of room to go by on other side.

Last time we ate there(several months ago) we said we would not go back because the only pizza on the buffet had been out for awhile and was cold. That was not the first time. We were in Smithfield today and decided to give them another try. We got there about 12:30 and there was 3 pans of pizza on the buffet. Two pans had 2 slices of pizza that had been there for a while and a couple pieces of pizzert. We decided to get spaghetti while we waited for pizza to come out and low and behold the spaghetti was cold. I mentioned to the waitress that spaghetti was cold and she just walked off. We sat there for almost an hour before they had more than 3 pizzas at a time on the buffet and only 1 pizzert.
We use to eat there about once a month but in our view they just keep going downhill. Just when I thought they couldn’t get worse they did.

I was so surprised at the amount of food and quality. The food was delicious. Plenty of pizza, pasta, salads, and lots of variety.
The staff was nice. There’s plenty of parking. The atmosphere was good and reminded me of my childhood. This is the biggest pizza buffet I’ve seen in a long time. I will definitely recommend this location and can’t wait to come back. The price was also very affordable. What a great place.

We have given this location chance after chance after chance and there is ALWAYS an issue. From old pizza to no pizza to old lettuce, there’s ALWAYS some kind of issue at this location. This was our last trip and we waiting for over 15 minutes for the buffet to be restocked and they brought out maybe 4 pizzas and none were what anyone wanted. My daughter ate and the rest if us didn’t. We will not be back and I warn anyone coming here to check the buffet for quantity and quality before you sit down.
Staff is very nice though and the restaurant is clean. Just never have food it seems.

Stopped by the Pizza Inn in Selma, NC, and wow—what a treat! Their pizza buffet was absolutely excellent! Every slice was hot, fresh, and perfectly cheesy. The variety was on point—from classic pepperoni to those delicious dessert pizzas that make you go back for “just one more.”
The staff was friendly, the restaurant was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—exactly what you want when you’re hungry and craving comfort food. You can tell they take pride in their service and their pizza game.

As I travel for work, I stop at this location.. I have placed several phone orders.. today, I was hung up on twice, the third call a different person answered and took my order!! I get to the drive up window and I wait 5 minutes as several different workers walked past, getting a drink of their drink, and 2 females standing there chatting.. I had to honk and wave to get someone’s attention.
The excuse I got was we only have one cashier over here.. well, say that to people placing orders.. then I spoke with someone in charge, who’s only response was my manager will be back in a few minutes then you can get a discount.. I didn’t ask for a discount but a sincere apology, or saying you are understaffed and sorry for your wait..
What has happened to customer service??
I will never patronize this establishment again. Sorry but my time is valuable too..
