**edit I sent an email as they asked last week or maybe the week before and never heard a word from them . I also resent the email this week and so far nothing , cool glad I took the time to.
We ordered this pizza for delivery on New Year’s Eve and we understand that it’s busy so that’s not the issue, the issue is them using DoorDash that charges us and then I’m not sure that they don’t charge something else on top of the DoorDash fee. It was pricey !! The driver could not find our house and our pizzas were cool to the touch by the time they finally made it. After awhile of waiting the driver called and was 11 miles away from us and had no Idea where we were ! Pizza Hut, if you plan on using DoorDash to deliver your pizzas, then I lay that blame on you , we called you and ordered it not DoorDash. The thing that upset me the most though was the lady taking our order asked if we wanted to put the tip on the card or will we be tipping in person . First of all, don’t ever imply that we have to tip and that’s exactly what she did. She was very pushy about it , repeated it 2-3 times. Of course we tip, but we tipped the driver when she finally arrived . Two thin crust, pizzas was 56 bucks plus tip , arrived cool and very late …. We won’t be using them again.

This place used to be good until they switched to door dash instead of just paying drivers enough for people to want to be a delivery driver. The food is always cold now or the door dash person cant find your address. Last 3 orders have been disgusting or missing a drink/items. I tried calling customer service and I was put on hold for 3 hours. The guy answering said “sorry we are busy i gotta put you on hols.” Very rudely with no hospitality at all I didnt even have time to say “ok thats fine” I was even missing the pesto sauce I was craving and the cheese had already hardened by the time I got it. Dont waste your time with pizza hut just buy a digorno or something its probably better quality.

Ordered by phone a very simple pizza: large pepperoni.
Gave them 20 minutes (as they had estimated on the phone). Showed up and they explained something had happened with my pizza and they had to remake it.
Paid for the pizza.
Watched as they gave my “goof” pizza to a DoorDash driver as a free pizza.
Waited for 30 minutes while they were supposedly remaking it.
At the end of the 30 minutes, they explained they still had not actually made the pizza.
Got a refund for the pizza.
Seems like a really poorly run operation.

We ordered pizza Nd this is a cheese pizza with olives. Half the pizza is missing olives and where is the cheese. Also we ordered a chicken and bacon only and they made it with onions. Victor was rude when I called to tell.them what happened. He said it would be 30 minutes to replace and an hour later still waiting. Called again and was told my order was with a driver that was delivering 3 different orders. Never eating there again.

So this store needs some leadership it had 3 employees. They have no flow 1 of the employees was on the phone the hole time. They did not have anyone running the front of the store so customers where just standing around waiting for someone to come to the front. They were running behind losing orders. My pizzas one was cook and they told me the other one did not get into the oven yet. At least 2 other(probably more) they could not even find there orders. It took an hr get get my order. Even when I got home the food was not good tasted a lot like cardboard. I will not be going back to this pizza hut.

Pizza Hut in Alvarado has went downhill the people are rude and customer service is horrible food sucks .since management has changed everything has. Go to Crowley if you want the smiles the excellent service and great food go to Crowley.

I gave 5 stars because the drivers and employees have always been super nice. Once I forgot for put down for delivery after I paid online, called them up and the lady that answered told “oh that’s okay, I can fix it for you!’. ❤
