A little disappointed, the dining room is not yet open. Staff was very helpful in ordering carryout only. I’m kinda over carryout but had no choice. They did the best they could. I won’t be hungry when I finish my order.

Pizza Hut in Metropolis has amazing people and service. Pizza Hut Corp. on the other hand is the worst! I was trying to get to the store to talk to a real person, like I always have, however, the call center either hung up on me or put me on hold for 10 minutes and they lied when I asked if they were in Metropolis. It was a call center!!! So the call center has just lost a loyal customer. I will go to Pizza Inn from now on.

The Detroit Style pizza could be on Diners, Drive Inns & Dives. The sauce is amazing, the crust has cheese all the way to the edge…Sauce down the middle…Honestly the best pizza that I’ve ever ate…The crew at Metropolis Pizza Hut are super nice as well… This is my cheat meal.. I hope they put it permanently in the menu some day.

The folks who work here are really nice. The food was good and the service was quick. The only trouble I had was that the dining area closes at 9pm, the drive up window is open till 12am. I endured a little confusion after calling and ordering for carry out. The hours they have posted dont show the separate lobby and drive up hours. I had no idea they even had a drive up window. Thankfully the kind young lady on shift took pity on me and unlocked the lobby door to explain all of this to me. I felt pretty silly that I didn’t catch on, but if there was any signage pointing to the drive up window I definitely just overlooked it.

I usually love to get Pizza Huts personal pan pizzas, I have to say this wasn’t the best experience at this particular Pizza Hut. Granted the manager said she was having a rough day when two employees quit that morning. On top of that their internet went down and we had to pay cash. Waited an extra fifteen minutes for our pizzas and they were to be pan crust in the personal pans and not sure what we got, but it was more dough than toppings and not their normal signature pan crust. On top of that they forgot to give me my wings and after getting their attention at the window they forgot my ranch, yes I needed the ranch to equalize some of the sauce that drowned my wings in. Finally after calling them on the phone at the drive thru window which they never did answer, someone finally saw that we were still waiting at the drive thru window. Not my best experience at a Pizza Hut.

Placed an order for pickup, a couple hours in advance. Ended up waiting in the drive through for 10-15 minutes while the food finished baking. I wasn’t upset, I was just enjoying the beautiful spring weather. When the lady came to the window, she thanked me for waiting and informed me that they threw in extra bread sticks! I was thrilled.

I had placed my order through the app. When I got there to pick it up at the window I could see my name on the screen in the back ground but I think they may have forgotten to start it. They offered me a soda to drink as I waited as it was extremely hot outside. After about 10-15 minutes later they finally brought my order out to me. When I got home I found out it was half wrong. The toppings were correct but I has ordered pan crust and it was regular crust. I never usually have an issue with this restaurant but after a long day at work it was kind of saddening.

Food was great and the Employee was great. The reason I gave 3 starts is that I had to call a call center to place my order because the online ordering wasn’t working. I would much rather call the actual place then to reach someone. Who doesn’t even live in this state let alone this country.
