Big 10 Championship = Pizza, right? Maybe so, but don’t ruin your experience by ordering pizza from Pizza Hut. Choose anyone else (almost!), but don’t call these guys. Back in the 70s and 80s, PH was THE place to go for a tasty pizza, but they have failed to keep up with the competition on nearly every level, especially the quality.
We ordered our pizza at 6:15 pm from the Pizza Hut that is roughly 2 miles away from our house. Large pie with pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. Pretty basic – right? At 7:37 pm it FINALLY shows up (via DoorDash, which I was not thrilled to learn).
No surprise to discover that the pizza was warm (that’s being generous!), not hot. The crust was as boring as a first date between two mathematicians. Barely any pepperoni on it, so the mushrooms were the star of this pizza; but let’s be honest – mushrooms are not supposed to be the star but the side. The sauce was almost non-existent flavor-wise; I looked under the cheese to confirm that there was any sauce at all; that’s how bland it was.
We are not saving the leftover slices… that should say plenty about how we felt about Pizza Hut. This is truly the last time we are ordering a pizza from them (I mean it!). Nostalgia will not make me forget this crappy experience.
I love it when brands from the past survive or make a comeback, but some of these brands should just call it a day. Pizza Hut is one of them. Their pizza is just not good; plain and simply put. When you get their aggressively priced coupons, you think “why not? We haven’t had it in a while, so let’s try it.” Then you eat it, look at each other, and say “what were we thinking?” With all the choices out there – skip the Pizza Hut deal and buy a good tasting pizza.

This is the only Pizza Hut I’ll order from! They keep such a clean store, and the pizza is so good it’s borderline addictive (which I can’t say about any other pizza chain, or Pizza Hut location). I’ve never had a long wait or bad service. 10/10 recommend!

Using Door Dash is a bad idea. I specifically order from stores that delivered for themselves to avoid DD. They are terrible and I usually do not have a good experience. Door Dash is the dollar store version of delivery. Ordered from Pizza Hut so I would have a pleasant experience. Well fooled me. I was promptly notified it would be Door Dashed to me. And just as is most common it was a terrible experience, the driver was rude and inevitably refused to deliver. He couldn’t read an apartment complex sign to see where the correct apartment was. I even sent him a picture of the map that showed where he was and I put an “x” where I was. Still couldn’t find me. He took my pizza back to the store. Door Dash did a redelivery and then I got the Dasher Zach. He is one of the GREAT ones. I have had him before for Door Dash and every time it has been a good experience. This time he had a little trouble finding me but he kept trying and didn’t give up until he got me my pizza. It took him several minutes which hurts his ratings as DD times your deliveries but he still took the time. What a stand up guy. There are a few other good DDs around here but they are like unicorns. Hard to find and hard to get. So I avoid DD. Please stop using them. Maybe hire Zach as your dedicated delivery driver and pay him WELL to incentivize him to be exclusive to PH. The pizza was cold by the time I got it. Not Zach’s fault. Not the employees fault at PH. It was the choice to use DD only partially but mostly it is DD’s fault because they hire literally anyone.

Came in to order food… female worker was extremely rude and unhelpful. Came out and yelled at my mother who speaks louder due to hearing loss. My mother was complimenting another customer and was very polite. Got my order wrong. Unapologetic and refused to make order correct. If you don’t enjoy customer service while working food service, get a different job!

Ordered online, and the pizza was supposed to be ready 25 minutes later. Arrived 5 minutes late, to a full lobby. Got up to the counter, the woman took my name, then disappeared for 5 to 8 minutes. She came back with pizzas for another customer, and stared at me expectantly. I told her my name again. “Oh, it’s not even in the oven yet.”
Then she took the next name, disappeared for another 10 minutes, came back with more pizzas. I told her mine was supposed to have been ready 20 minutes prior to the then current time. “So was everyone’s,” she said. I told her to cancel my pizza. Only go here if you have all the time in the world and enjoy rude, dismissive service.

The wife and I thought we would order a pizza for dinner. After ordering we were given a 45 to 1-hour delivery. After an hour I called the local phone number to get an update. Repeatedly I was connected to a call center. I was told if they don’t answer it goes to a call center. After 30 more minutes, I went to the store to find out what happened and where our pizza was. I was told the delivery person had already delivered it! Obviously, it was not delivered, here I am. The lady offered to make my order again, I declined and asked for a refund, and went to McDonald’s. To this day I have not been reimbursed. It has been two weeks! Where has customer service gone? Well it has over a month. No response and no refund. Customer service is gone. Sad really well it has been several months and still no response. I would expect the store to go the way of the Dodo. They have stolen the last dollar from me. I speak to as many people I can if they are planning to buy a pizza I suggest little cesars over this poorly ran poorly staffed store!

I have ordered from here before and it has been fine. Always way past the estimated delivery time but the pizza has always been edible. This last experience though is why they get the 1 star. I ordered using my reward points and it was one medium 2 topping and cinnamon sticks. After an hour and a half of not getting my pizza I called to see if there was an issue. They asked about my order put me on hold and when they got back to me they said they must have delivered it to the wrong address. No apology was given just them saying they can get one soon. Then the food was delivered and they were missing three of the items we ordered.

Major quality issues. Thought the first time we got a new person. But last two times order was subpar. Seasoning on breadsticks non-existent, toppings thrown on too thick in some places and not enough in others. Pizza also seemed a little undercooked mix.
