This was our first time and we didn’t really know what any of it was. The lady that took care of us was very nice and helpful. We intended on eating there but the food is served in take-out containers anyway so we just took it home to enjoy it. The food was delicious. We don’t really have anything to compare it to but it was hot and fresh and we were very happy with it. We will definitely be going back

Prior to my arrival in Maryland, my Bestfriend stumbled upon this restaurant via social media and we agreed to go together on my next trip. Being our usual self, we were excited to try out a new restaurant together and experience Indian Cuisine.

Upon walking in, the floor plan isn’t the traditional Buffet Style setup. The tables are in the front and the Buffet selection is towards the back BEHIND the counter. Though it is All You Can eat, they serve the food to you via a cafeteria style setup.

As this was the first time, the young lady who assisted us proposed that she put a sample of everything on my plate so I can see what I liked, then in the next go round, focus on the items I decided upon. This was a perfect idea as it allowed me to get a feel for everything and be able to make an informed decision for round 2. Along with this, you must request the NAAN bread at the counter and it gets brought to your table.

After going down the line, I got a sample of everything except the goat. Overall, the food was good.

The Chicken Kabob was super moist and meaty. It had a true authentic seasoning blend which was mild, yet flavorful.

The Butter Chicken was good. The flavors weren’t as robust as I imagined, however, it was good overall and was brought to life when paired with the NAAN bread.

The Kidney Beans and Chick Peas (Green Bean) sides were both amazing. I really enjoyed the flavor profiles of each dish as well as the spice level. Both of these side selections present as the highlight of the plate. So much so, I would go back for an order of each of these alone.

The NAAN bread was truly the hidden gem of the experience. I have never had FRESH NAAN bread and the fact that this was homemade and fresh was beyond mouth watering. The naan was crispy on the outside but still had the soft center which allowed for the chew to be even more pleasing than what the mind could have imagined. Furthermore, there is a perfect amount of oil and garlic that provides this added addition to the flavor profile. Oh my! For the record, if I lived in the area, the NAAN bread would be a weekly indulgence of mine.

Overall, I enjoyed the experience and if in the area again with a taste for Indian Cuisine, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in for a to-go order.

Area of Opportunity:
-The AC is minimal which made it a less than comfortable environment to sit down and eat in.

Excellent food quality and unforgettable taste.
The spices are well-layered, the curry is creamy and authentic, and the overall experience feels warm and homely. Patiala Curry Culture truly lives up to its name. Will definitely visit again!

Though the food was average but the treatment and the behavior of all the ladies was very pleasant. I felt it home. Their hospitality was awesome and the punjabi music. Amazing!

UPDATED REVIEW: We got the buffet and there were 2 chicken dishes, 4 vegetarian dishes, 2 kinds of rice, an appetizer, and naan. So much food for the price! Very nice folks working there. The atmosphere is very casual, almost like a by the slice pizza place. The food was delicious! I will definitely be back again soon. Very happy that there is Indian food in Westminster.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala entree for one and two pieces of naan. Total came out to just under $30! When I got home I opened my tikka masala and was very sad to find that the entree was filled with huge chunks of onion and barely any chicken. I know onion is a major ingredient for this dish, but it felt as if I ordered onion masala instead of chicken! Where’s the chicken! $30 and a long wait. Won’t be back.

August 2022: We have eaten here many times at this point and they have yet to disappoint! Have now added Chicken Hariyali Murgh, tikka masala, and mango lassi to our favorites list. Raj has been so kind to suggest new items and even let us tinker with one thing.

April 2022: PHENOMENAL food! The couple of entrees we got (chicken saag, malai methi mutter, tandoori chicken) do have a pleasant amount of heat to them while balanced with other spices and rich textures. The owner we met was absolutely lovely and we hope they are here for a really long time.

I just had an out-of-body experience. We came in for the first time today and ordered a lot of food just to see what was good. It’s ALL good. The man who waited on us made suggestions and was patient as we asked questions. Generally, good restaurants have some excellent dishes and others that are just good. Every one of our dishes was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves. The owner explained that everything was made fresh for each order; because of that, we don’t mind a wait. We are thrilled that such an gem of a place is here in Westminster.
Can’t wait to see how the renovations come out.
