Hut changed us to doordash. Fine, it happens.
Order was over an hour late. Food was cold. Dasher didn’t know how to do the delivery and didn’t store it in a hot bag
Called the help line that takes you to a call center who forwards you to the store.
Was ON HOLD FOR OVER 20 MINUTES. Nothing was resolved. I have a screen cap of my time spent on hold and never answered.
I just had a horrible experience here as a dasher. First this pizza hut bunched three orders togeather for me to deliver. Which whatever, i got the bags.
Then they took quite a while to hand me them. With one being ready upon arrival, #2 being handed to me 10 minutes after arrival and #3 about to be handed to me 10 minutes after that.
While i was waiting on order #3 either the manager or an employee had a little bit of a mental break down. Told me to stand on the opposite side of the store because i was in the paying customers way, whom had just paid and had no issue with me “being in the way” Plus, arent i a customer too? in fact i represented THREE customers. With over 100$ in food.
I told the man, There is no sign saying where i should stand but its no issue ill stand wherever you want. He didnt not like what i said and got hostile, argumentitive and verbally abusive. I tried to deescalate the situation various times, reminding him i did move, i dont agree but we can agree to disagree and move on.
The man told me to leave, and i had to take the two orders i did have in my bag and leave them due to a safety concern. The store was reported on DoorDash on my end.
Customers were left without pizza and unable to contact the pizza hut.
The guy who had his little “mental break-down” obviously had an issue with dashers.
He said that he had to have the last word and that dashers always stood on the left and he seemed EXTREMELY angry about it.
one of the customers on this order called me, said she tipped well but ordered through pizza hutt not door dash. Said she couldent even contact the pizza hut about her order and expressed condolences for having to deal with what i did.
That being said, Avoid this place as a customer and avoid it as a dasher.
it would be common sense to not treat dashers who are running their product like crap. I’m not hard to get along with, im a gold/platinum dasher with amazing ratings and ive never had to report a resteraunt nor had an employee act in this manner towards me.
im sure customers want a hot pizza delivered in a reasonable time frame. I wouldent risk ordering here. they are too busy hastling door dashers.
