Stopped in for a quick coffee and croissant. Friendly staff. The coffee was hot and flavorful. The croissant was very flaky and fresh and flavorful. I should has asked for some jam. It pulled apart and was very good. On the way out, I picked up a sourdough baguette and a wonderful chocolate twist. The baguette was good but not really a true ‘sour’ loaf. The chocolate twist on the other hand was amazing. Very thick, dark chocolate on a fresh pastry bread. Delicious! This is a small chain with 3 shops around LA. I went to the Wilshire one. Definitely worth another visit to try some of the other great looking pastries. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating at this location. I never felt rushed sitting here with my coffee.

Went here with the wife after a doctor’s visit.
Ambiance is less than excellent but the place is clean and service was great. We ordered cappuccinos, eggs over easy for the wife and French Toast for me. French Toast is my go-to dish for breakfast at a new restaurant.
The coffees came quickly. They were quite large, which surprised us. However, they were very good with a good amount of foam, but not too much. This gave us high hopes for the food.
The food arrived soon, delivered straight from the kitchen. The wife’s eggs were to her liking, the bacon was crisp, the toast was dry and there was a small bowl of chopped fruit, too. The wife was delighted with everything.
I was also delighted with the French Toast. Without fear of contradiction, I can say it was the best French Toast I have ever had. The toast was fluffy and stayed that way for the whole meal. The bread was brioche, I found out later.
The portions were large. I couldn’t finish mine, which is really saying something. The wife joined the ‘clean plate’ club and that is also saying something.
All in all, we were very pleased with our choice for breakfast.
The inside decor is straight from IKEA, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was worth going back for.
Bottom line: worth a visit. A bit expensive but that just might be the dinosaur in me. It was $40 for the whole shebang and we got to watch the doings on Wilshire Blvd.
Update (13 Feb 2024): Went here again today. Only self-serve now (I guess they have to pay their people more so they eliminated that to save money. ) Order at the counter, about the same price and food quantity. There was a different taste to the French Toast today, not bad, just not as good as before. Wife was pleased with hers.
Still worth a shot.

Great prices, excellent coffee and pastries. Have yet to try their food menu. The staff are all wonderful and kind. Like an Urth Cafe but more quaint. Had their ham & cheese croissant and Caramel Latte.

Incredibly tasty croissants! We stopped here while on our morning walk. We selected a few croissants:almond, chocolate and ham and cheese. Every single Croissant was delicious!
We opted to find a table in the back patio Instead of inside or out front on the sidewalk on Wilshire. Inside the tables are a bit close together.
I saw several folks getting things to go for a large group.

This morning, I went to Amadine Patisserie for a cup of hot coffee and a pastry. The almond croissant was dry as could be. They did exchange it for a different croissant once I told them. The small coffee is $4.50, and they filled the paper cup 3/4 of the way. I asked to have it filled to the top, if it was not too much trouble. A second cup of coffee is not a refill, rather it costs $2.74. I asked if a splash of hot coffee might heat up the rest of it, and I was clearly told, point blank, “Sir, if you want a splash of hot coffee, that will be $2.74. Period. All we are able to give you is hot water.” I thanked them for their help and walked out, never to return.

First of all I want to point out that this is definitely not an authentic French bakery so don’t expect the croissants to have the delicacy from Paris; However, I do like their wide range of offerings from pastries to cakes, all at very friendly prices.
Besides the croissant, which was ok, not bad for the price. I also had a vanilla turnover, and was happily surprised by the banana tart or whatever that is called. It has a balanced, tasty flavor and good mix of textures. Definitely the highlight of my visit.
Service was no-frills and fast, there are quite some seatings both inside and outside on the sidewalk.

The place is cute, service could be better. I asked for my eggs to be well done and I had to send them back and it still wasn’t well done. The sausage was dry. My friends enjoyed their omelettes, not the best but it was good.

Fruit tart was excellent but latte was too large (expect American-style) and milk wasn’t steamed very fine; had to take some points off for service as I asked for dine-in, tipped and ended up with disposable cutlery and drinkware which is awkward and detracted from the experience. Great little French style restaurant in Santa Monica. Coffee, cappuccinos and pastries are excellent. Tip: they have free parking in the back. Also you can site on the patio if you want outdoor seating.
