Excellent food and service every visit! We love Pizza Gorda and so do all our guests. Everything is delicious and homemade with quality ingredients from their soup, salads, sandwiches, entrees and mouthwatering desserts! I highly recommend this wonderful family restaurant. Consider making reservations for indoor or outdoor seating as Pizza Gorda is very popular!

Best of everything! Loved our server- young brunette gal who has worked there 3 years. Unreal calzone, out of this world white pie. I’m a New Yorker and am very discerning can’t wait to go back AND go on owners Italy tour next June. We were delighted to learn these owners have the gelato spot next door now. Finished off over there with the salted Carmel and chocolate cone!

First of all, we loved the location! We sat outside on a beautiful Florida night! Our baked ziti was excellent! We also enjoyed the antipasto! Lots of meat, cheese and some olives! Although there could have been some softer crackers or bread of some sort! Our friend had margarheta pizza which looked excellent and another friend had chicken Parmigiana which also looked very good! If you’re in Punta Gorda, you should definitely give this restaurant a try!

Fantastic food! Came for the pizza, came back for the Sandwiches Love the thoughtful salads… especially with the lemon olive oil! Nice wines too. Wood fired cheese pizza, like all of Nino’s pizzas only take 90 seconds to cook in the roasting hot oven.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for dinner and I wish we lived in the area to return! The meatball appetizer was delicious, homemade and the sauce was outstanding. We split the shrimp, beet, white bean salad, delicious as well. Then we had split a pizza, all fresh toppings and the crust was light and crispy. We then went next door for Gelato and that was the perfect dessert! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow, what an amazing place to grab some grub. It’s kinda a hidden gem! Our friends invited us to try so we decided to go with them and it was amazing!! Wood fire cooking is AWESOME!! We loved the pizza, the staff were super friendly and very nice. We will definitely be coming back to try more!!

Do NOT miss this place! Great service! Our pizza was delicious and the Italian sub was actually made from there calzone bread….AMAZING! We got take out and everyone ate it so quickly that I didn’t get any photos! We will be back!

Had a party of 8 for my grandmother’s 81st birthday today. the food was delicious and fresh, service was wonderful. But what was beyond my expectations was that, when my 3yr old was walking thought the restaurant and noticed the pizza oven, the chef came over and said hello, asked her if she liked pizza, talked to her about the oven, when he saw she was excited. He invited her to see how the oven works, and showed us how they roll the dough. Made all of our day. Wonderful people and fresh delicious food.

The Pizza was excellent!! We ordered a extra cheese and a meat lovers. I would say the best part was the crust. Crust is everything, and they got it right. The sauce, cheese and toppings were all very tasteful too. If I had to add any negative about this place is that it only offers one size for the pie, 13 inches. But this might be why the pizza is so good!
