Pizza Forno in Swansboro is an absolute gem. The owner is awesome super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. The food is unreal, with fresh ingredients and pizzas made right in front of you, brick-oven style. You can literally watch your pizza cook, and the quality shows in every bite. Hands down some of the best pizza around. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re anywhere nearby. The pizza is about a medium and I eat a whole one to myself.

As a newbie still craving a wood fired pizza my hometown heroes hooked me up! I brought in my non dairy cheese and they were happy to oblige! This was the best vegan pizza I’ve had and I’m so happy I have a place close I can visit and still enjoy pizza my way that still fits my lifestyle!

This is the first “build your own” pizza place I’ve been too, I think it needs to be everywhere, honestly. They have a lot of ingredients to choose from. One of them being whole roasted garlic cloves – omg! They also have special recipe pizzas, if choosing your own is not your style. Highly recommend!

Visiting our kids and they had never been here. So glad we gave it a try! Super friendly, super clean and amazing food! Prices were right and the value was well worth it! We had the cheese bread, a few different create your own pizzas and a create your own pasta. So yummy!!! Must try!!!

Great pizza joint! They’re easy to get to in their location, fast (even their online order is always on time) and their ingredients are very fresh! We have tried quite a few of their specialty pizzas and have not been disappointed. Crust is crunchy and it isnt grease laden like other joints around here. They also offer salads, desserts (like their apple pie pizza) and a BYO pizza option. Would recommend!

This place is a Must Try!!! Imagine hot fresh pizza. Not pizza that has been sitting there waiting to be purchased and reheated. You can see all the fresh ingredients and pick out what you want. The fries were good, but we were wildly underwhelmed by the pizza. My experiences with wood-fired pizza have been very different than what we got here — I was expecting fresh crust and flavor, and we didn’t get either of those things. It was also really expensive for the quality, which frankly felt like gas-station pizza. Not for us.

Stopped in here for the first time today and my expectations were blown. Totally understood that it was oven fired pizza, but didn’t know it was a create your own personal pizza (think Chipotle). This was amazing. 3 sauce choices, tons of meat and cheese choices, and plenty of vegetables at one price.
They had not only the usual fountain sodas, but also 6 beers on tap and a selection of other drinks.
The decor is very nice and welcoming and a great place to sit down and eat in.
The best part was the service. Everyone was kind and quick and I was absolutely surprised at how fast the pizza was fired and brought out to us.
My pizza and the peanut butter cake was over the top amazing and this will be my new go to for fast service and great food in the area. I wish I could do more stars as this place exceeded any expectation I may have had.
