Pizza Chief is truly a Ventura gem! The people who work there are always warm and super friendly. But the pizza… wow. It’s seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. The crust is perfect every time, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and they nail the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Every bite is delicious! All their other food is amazing. The dressings are so flavorful, their sandwiches are great, and the lasagna is delicious! But honestly, the pizza is the star of the show!! You can’t go wrong with anything there. Oh and they also have great beer!! My entire family loves it there! Highly, highly recommended!

We love this place! It’s perfect for watching games, grabbing beers, and eating pizza. The pizza has amazing flavor; we always have them run it through the oven twice for extra crispiness.

This is some of the worst pizza I’ve had. If you like cardboard with cheese grease and burnt crunchy pepperonis… eat here. I’m from the NY area so the bar is high, yet my standards had to relax in CA… but this is not good. Waste of money. A staff trip to NYC pizza joints would serve them well.

Great pizza!! Been around forever!! Small arcade, pitchers, and comedy shows!! Super awesome local vibes and well known comedy acts!!! Had an amazingly entertaining night, ate really well, drank, laughed our asses off and didn’t spend a ton!! 100% we’ll definitely be back!!

My fav is bbq chicken with cilantro and onion. Dip it into ranch with hot red peppers and OMG! So good your eyes will roll back.

It’s the a new place for us that we go to when we are visiting our family who live there. We usually order takeout, but the atmosphere is really nice and quiet. They have TV screens playing sports, they also have some sports memorabilia, beer on tap a salad bar and a few video games for the kids. Service is great the food is really good and prices are very reasonable.

Our favorite pizza, beer, and sub place in Ventura County. I know that most people default to Toppers as their Fav spot but we REALLY DO love everything about Pizza Chief as a locally owned and operated restaurant here in Ventura. Curt, the owner is a good dude who offers great food and service.

Really good pizza and a fun experience with kids as they have a little arcade. Beer by the pitcher if that’s your thing. Very cozy atmosphere with sports playing on the TVs.
