No kidding aside, one of the best Pizza places in the SW suburban area. More than great pizza place, their beef sandwich is the best I ever had. It was hugh and very fresh. Family owned and operated.

We used to order from their original location all the time, so I had to check out the new spot in Hickory Hills. I was very happy that the pizza was the same great quality I’m used to. I ordered the XL King Arthur and an XL sausage. They were both fresh, hot, and made to order. The owner and his sons were very friendly and extremely accommodating, and for that, I’ll definitely be a returning customer. Two thumbs way up.

The day I learned Pizza Castle was moving from Gage Park to Hickory Hills was one of the happiest of my life. They serve some of the best tavern style pizza you will find anywhere, and they offer a great selection of appetizers. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are unbelievably low for the quality and quantity. The inflatable dragon is epic. My only complaint is they don’t have a location in Lemont

After hiking at Swallow Cliff we stopped by Pizza Castle because of the good reviews, the reviews are definitely spot on! We tried their plain cheese and sausage pizza slice combo which came with fries and soda…Everything was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. Great customer service as well! Definitely coming back if we’re ever in the area.

NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES! Our catering cancelled on us on THE DAY OF our event. I was left scrambling to figure out how we were going to feed 30 hungry people quick. I quickly picked up the phone and called Pizza castle. To say they DELIVERED is an understatement. One of the owners got on the phone with me, took my order and assured they’d get our huge order over ASAP. Not only did they do that, but the quality of the food was amazing as always. They really did save the day ! We always recommend them when people are in the area.

Best pizza in the area! Quality ingredients and reasonable prices. There are some seats for dine in but its mainly to-go/delivery. Ordered a handful of times and food is consistently good

Wow!!! This place knocked me over!!! To think that a small, family run, local pizza place would hit it out of the park… Oh Man!!!!
We had seen Pizza Castle on Chicago’s Best TV Show, but in our travels, even their suggestions have every so often missed their mark… But not here.
There was a welcome atmosphere, both on the phone to order, and also the second we walked in the door. A truly genuine smile from the owner greeted us, making us feel at home.
Pizza Castle is more takeout and delivery, than sit down. Due to their location and size, there are only 6 stools at a lunch counter type setting, and a small table for two making it rather cozy.
The counter fit well for their normal dine-in guests, who seemed to favor a pizza slice or a quick sandwich. Even so, our hosts accommodated our every whim, negotiating an Extra Large Pizza and a tub of Lasagna on their counter, along with providing a spatula and metal utensils. (Not plastic)
We had called ahead, so the food was ready when we got there. They even were thoughtful enough to wait on putting the garlic bread in the oven until we arrived.
It was very refreshing to find that both Father and Son were very proud of the food they served, their Halloween Traditions, and even the tools of their trade. Their Faulds rotating oven (a Chicago Original) and their 1950’s dough roller have been churning out fantastic food for generations.
On top of all this, they have been showcased on both local TV Food Shows like Chicago’s Best, and on the world renowned Foodie Andrew Zimmerman’s show “The Meters Running” on the Food Network. By the way, hey say Britney Payton was wonderful and a sweetheart, just like her father Walter Payton .
We plan to put this on our short list of favorite pizza places. It was definitely worth the drive.
