I drove 35 minutes one way to get takeout from Pizza by Robert, and it was absolutely worth every minute! The buffalo chicken pizza is my favorite—it’s perfectly spicy and full of flavor. If you’re ordering, I highly recommend getting the deep dish crust. Whether you’re getting a specialty pizza or basic cheese and pepperoni, the deep dish takes it to the next-level!
The customer service is also spot-on—super friendly and chatty. One of the guys even complimented my tennis shoes! It’s those little touches that make the experience even better.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I have to say I’m really disappointed to be writing a review such as this. I’ve been a long-standing customer for nearly 20 years. Today I was intentionally humiliated by the middle-aged skinny man with glasses. I am door dashing on the side because I had unexpected financial stressor. I own a local bakery and I have multiple degrees but it shouldn’t even matter what my background is, doordashing on the side or doordashing in general is still an honest living. This man intentionally degraded me based upon what I do thinking that I don’t have a real job or whatever he’s thinking. I’ve been in the store and done five pickups this week and today they decided to make me confirm the order with picture in front of them. I was originally told to double check the order so I’m standing there like a moron reading the ticket making sure it matches what is in my doordash app to confirm I have the right order. That man with his plaid shirt came over and said no no here’s what you need to do and told me that I need to confirm the order. I’m like “oh, well you could have just told me I needed to confirm the order, I thought you were telling me to double check it since you said double check it.” Then I explained to him that nobody else had asked me for that trying to tell them that there’s an issue with their store because no one else is telling me to do that and this is the first time anyone at any store has asked me to do this. He got really snotty with me and told me that I just needed to do my job and go work in a really degrading way, basically telling me to get out of the store. He degraded me in front of at least six customers who looked horrified by his actions. I spoke to the manager explained that I was just trying to notify him that no one else is doing that because I was wondering why I was being singled out. He then yelled at me from across the store telling me that I wasn’t telling the truth but everyone saw it including that manager. I literally left the store in tears because of how I was treated. I have been coming to this place since I was a child and I have never been treated with such disrespect at any place I’ve entered. This was incredibly unprofessional and I will never be coming back and I will be telling all of my family and friends never to come back to this place. Lastly, I bought two half sheets every single week this summer and you just alienated a very good customer of yours without even realizing it because my husband does the pickups. You should be ashamed of your actions and I have contacted doordash who will be contacting you to verify this.

Good, but could be a bit better. I included a picture of the pizza which shows it being overcooked on half of it, which it was still fine, but not as great as the first half. I would suggest maybe rotating the pizza a bit better inside the oven so it cooks evenly, but no complaints other than that.

We moved away from Ohio about 10 years ago and I haven’t done good pizza where we live now. I know Ohio isn’t really known for their pizza, but it is different and it’s so good. We went to Pizza by Robert when we were in town visiting and ohmigosh it was great to have some quality pizza. The crust and sauce were so good.

Called 5 times. Immediate hold music. Hung up and called again. I get you’re busy but pick up the phone. Went in to order, phone ringing and not picked up. First and last time that happens. Too bad. Love your pizza. Not again. Will travel to Angelo’s. (I know it’s a family affair). But you have a crowd so this will go unoticed.

This place used to always be amazing pizza, now it is a hit or miss. Never the same amount of sauce, cheese. Crust is sometimes crispy, sometimes not. My understanding is that it is under different ownership.

I got the 9 inch peperoni roni. Sauce on pizza is sweet, which I like. The crust was crispy and fresh. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Shop was very hot so I figured the air conditioner was out. Only thing I would change about my order would be lite Sauce, mine had a lot of Sauce on it. Overall a good pie.
