If you want amazing salads and delicious pizza, you need to come here. We usually end up saving one slice for later from our large pizzas, but the pizza here is so good it doesn’t ever make it out the door!

My favorite pizza spot in St Pete !! The pizza is made with sourdough dough, so it is light and airy – I always walk away feeling good and not too heavy. They rotate the veggie and dessert pizzas every month with fresh, local ingredients, which I love. The owners are local from St Pete and always prioritize buying local for produce and beers. The regular pizzas also have unique combinations you won’t find anywhere else. Overall an outstanding place, definitely a must try !

This great little palce houses a big deal on pizza. The accessible outdoor tables and big The Pizza Box sign open the door to a real hot pizza oven that we can see and can the guys like JACK at work but it is far enough away to prevent injury even to Littles. The selling point here is great pizza and we ordered a large margherita with big ole basil lea es and a plain cheese. Anyone can tap dance with a bunch of ingredients so the key to pizza excellence is the plain cheese. This plain cheese pizza is simply great and beyond compare.

My husband and I enjoyed visiting the Pizza Box, but we wanted to give customers and idea of what we experienced just for information. This restaurant is tiny and seems to be primarily a popular takeout business. All of our food was served on thin paper plates – thankfully, no Styrofoam. So, not quite the place to take a first date, but we thought it was unique.
The selection of European wines was good. We bought a bottle of Montepulciano. We shared a large kale caesar salad, which was delicious. We also shared the small 10-inch pepperoni pizza, which was plenty of food for us. The outer crust was light, crispy, and hot, but the inner crust was soggy. We found the toppings to be sparse and the sauce rather thin and bland. Even with the sparse toppings, the sauce could have been spiced up a bit with more basil, some red pepper.
The service was delightful, and I’m glad we visited for the unique experience.

By far the best pizza I’ve found in the 10 years I’ve lived in STP…I feel like it’s been here the whole time I have, I’ve been eating there at least 8-9 years. Just love this spot, always made to order and with love. Amazing ingredients, fresh, baked in an incredible hand made traditional brick oven. Their crust really sets them apart, it’s thin but with enough body to fill you up and stay chewy. But it’s also crispy on the outside from the brick oven, with the right amount of char.
No delivery or phone orders, ya got just show up to order. It’s ALWAYS been worth it and the longest I’ve ever waited for a pie is prob 20 mins tops. The whole place is a vibe. The owners are very kind local couple. The first & only STP pizza recommendation I give Don’t plan on eating in, there’s only a couple very small tables, but there is outdoor seating and plenty of other cozy nooks right in the neighborhood to sit down with your pie and indulge!
P.S.- I would HIGHLY recommend trying the desert pizzas as well. And tbh calling it a “desert pizza” doesn’t even do them justice…they are made with seasonal fruit and ingredients and are just amazing. My favorite is the Pear & Mascarpone Incredible.

I’ve been coming to pizza box for years. Best the best pizza on both sides of the bay. Artisian pizza at its finest. One best things besides the food is the customer service. Adam & Kelly are friendly and make you feel like an invited guest along with the rest of the staff. The food is amazing. One of best things is that it keeps getting better. From the different debbie veggies or the specials, even the dough is and ingredients are always being improved on. Dough one best i had light not heavy good chet to it. Favorites honey boo boo, angry goat and lover boy. Would suggest doing half a half as well. So underrated, but a must try are the meatballs smoked with cherry wood it one best i had. If you live in the area, this must try. PS Dont sleep on the salads either.
