We had dinner at Pixie & Bill’s to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Clemson and her birthday. It was such a wonderful experience! Everything from the appetizers to dessert was incredible. The entire staff we interacted with was pleasant and attentive. Bryson may be the best server I have ever had anywhere! If I am ever anywhere close to Clemson I will be going back to Pixie & Bill’s!!

First, the positives: The service was genuinely great. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. They were quick with drink orders and checked in regularly. The atmosphere was also really enjoyable with a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in.
But then came the wait. Our food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, and when it finally did, it was barely warm. We asked about the delay, and our server let us know they had just seated a large party. That explanation might’ve made sense except the restaurant was far from full. It felt more like an excuse than a reason, and it was disappointing to sit there hungry while clearly not much else was going on.
It’s a shame, because the food looked great and the flavors had potential, but the temperature and wait time made it hard to enjoy.
This place definitely has promise: the staff are great and the ambiance is inviting. But unless the kitchen can sort out its timing issues, it’s hard to recommend it for a full meal. I might come back for drinks or appetizers

Pixie and Bill’s, established in 1971, offers a fantastic dining experience. The current owner is always present, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and the service reflects her care. While the bar is first come, first serve, tables do require reservations due to the restaurant’s popularity, which is a testament to the quality of the food. The ambiance feels like a throwback to a 70s hunting lodge, which may be a bit dark for some, but the food more than makes up for it. I had the veal piccata with capers, angel hair, and asparagus, and it was excellent. The Apple Martini was also a highlight. The waiter was genuinely nice, adding to the overall experience. It’s a great spot for a fancy meal in Clemson!

We had a fabulous meal this past weekend at Pixie and Bill’s to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Everything we ordered was delicious. The only thing better than the food was the friendly and attentive service provided by Kelson. I can’t wait to return!

Excellent food, great cocktails, and creme Brule has me returning whenever I am in town. Prime rib is very popular, but I prefer their other steaks. Apple Cider Mule was inspiring, will be copying this drink at home the best I can.

Sat down at around 8 and ordered food around 8:15-8:20 the day before Valentine’s day. We did not get our food till 9:20. It was really unfortunate because the food was good but after that long of a wait it was no longer enjoyable. The worst bit was seeing other people sit down after us and get their food before us. Nothing was comped either.

We had a medium sized group celebrating an anniversary. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wines. I took home leftovers and my steak was delicious and tender even the next day. Unrelated to the restaurant, there’s a paved walking trail behind the restaurant along the lake shore that we enjoyed after our meal.

The staff were kind and considerate. The food, however, was not worth the price. Nothing on my plate impressed me, and the steak was something you could buy at Texas Roadhouse. You’re paying for the atmosphere, not the meal. And even then, it was stuffy and I felt out of place. But it’s a nice place to try and wow someone with.
