I feel bad leaving this review because the people are nice and the place has potential. The people are very friendly and down to earth and the service was great. While the food is good and the concept is unique, we were left wondering why it’s $37 a person? You eat at a picnic table outside, not super comfortable, and it could be hot or windy. Food comes on paper plates and the salad bar is self serve. Views are not spectacular unless you like an empty rodeo grounds parking lot. Bathrooms were like a national park. So it’s hard to feel like you’re welcome when you’re paying at least $15 extra per person than the typical nice eatery.

We chose Pitchfork Fondue for our wedding reception, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made. The setting, the service, the food—it was all incredible. Our guests loved the whole experience, and it felt so authentically Wyoming in the best way possible.
The food was fantastic—flavorful, hearty, and cooked to perfection. We were especially excited that they fry everything in tallow now!
The team was kind, professional, and on top of everything, making the evening smooth and stress-free for us. If you’re looking for a memorable event with good food and even better atmosphere, you can’t go wrong with Pitchfork Fondue.

This was a surprise. Unusual it is at the fairground. Outside set up. All very friendly. Food was good. We had chicken and potatoes plus bread, bison brat samples, chips, salad and fruit. Lemon bar was great.

A great outdoor experience, best had when the weather is nice. The trout was amazing, the chicken was amazing, and the steak was great as well. The deep fried bread you have to go easy on or you might feel like you’re going to pop at the end of dinner. . Very friendly people and when it’s crowded I can imagine it’s even better as you get to know a bunch of other travelers.

An absolute gem. This place was recommended on yelp, and I want to make sure that is now recommended on Google. When you walk through the gate, you’re greeted by the amazing and friendly staff that walks you through the whole process and then walks over to some of the best homemade potato chips that I’ve ever had. Sit down at the table. Enjoy a nice, quaint environment the wind blowing, and then your food shows up on a pitchfork served by the grill master, who was so polite and kind.

Had this place on our road trip bucket list from the get-go and it didn’t disappoint. Situated on the local rodeo grounds, the atmosphere was great and the staff, including the owner were terrific. The food was fantastic – what’s not to love about eating steaks cooked in cauldrens of hot oil by cowboys? Only one word of caution – the wind was blowing a steady 40mph the night we were there, and half of our buffalo brats and salad blew into the next county. Hang on to things!

Matt and his daughter catered our wedding and exceeded expectations in every way! Super easy to deal with and thought through the two nights of catering with great detail. Game meat, fish, and chicken were served with amazing sauces and fresh salads. Simple, delicious, and just what we had hoped for.
