A little diamond in the rough Mediterranean spot in an unassuming strip mall. Ordered a gyro and fry combo, which is pretty reasonably priced and the perfect portion for a big lunch or decent dinner. The gyros are very solid, nothing out of the box as far as flavor or portion goes but about what I would expect a gyro to be. The curly fries are also surprisingly solid, which I didn’t really expect from a Mediterranean restaurant but was very happy about. There was plenty of seating, the restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly and quick. Easy recommendation for this spot.

Always an excellent meal, with plenty of excellent menu choices. The Lebanese food is amazing, and the other choices are just as good. Always a smile from Rose, and her Thursday specials are exceptional!

We found this restaurant while in northern Peoria and stopped for a quick falafel lunch. The wrap was DELICIOUS. The tahini and tzatziki sauce were great flavors and falafel wasnt dry and very flavorful as well. Im not normally a big wrap fan but YUM! We will definitely be back.

Very delicious. Warm pitas for the wraps were so good! Got the large traditional gyro wrap – totally worth it and will be back for it again! Friendly staff too.

Might be the best falafel I’ve ever had, and their large wraps are huge! Very kind staff as well ♥️

I drove for 30 mins to try this restaurant after I saw the good reviews. I have to say I felt depressed and disappointed. We arrived at the restaurant 5 min before closing as I did not know they close at 7. I did apologise to the lady at the front desk and said I can take it to-go instead of dining in. She replied, “no we have a lot of cleaning still”. I really appreciated this but I don’t think we were served properly. The fries as you see in the pics are dry and almost burnt. They were not freshly fried. The grape leaves have nothing to do with grape leaves. It’s their own creation. It’s mushy white rice wrapped in grape leaves. Please do yourself a favor and look up a recipe for how to make grape leaves and I am sure the worst recipe you will find is 100 times better than this. The pita bread was chewy and dense. The falafel in my sandwich was also not fresh. I paid $45 including tips for a falafel sandwich, a gyro sandwich, one order of fries, one order of grape leaves, and one fountain drink. For this much I really expect much much better quality food. Authentic delicious Mediterranean food is mouth drooling. This is nothing but a failing attempt from an amateur.

Nice, calm atmosphere, serene and the wraps were really good. Admittedly they’re the only ones I’ve had but it left me with a good impression because the sauces tasted really good with the meat, and it’s pretty clean in there. The person who serviced us was extremely nice and there were a lot of regulars so it was a homey vibe with her talking to others while we were eating.

Service was good, they were very friendly. The food was so-so. It wasn’t bad but there are better places in town. To be fair, I’m not used to a thin pita and a gyro as a wrap. The meat wasn’t as flavorful as I’ve had and the sandwich was quite dry. This was the only food I had so I can’t judge anything else. I have heard great reports so it surprised me that the food wasn’t spectacular. Perhaps it was an off day.

This is such a delightful place. The food is excellent. My wife and I each got a Gyro, a large basket of fries, and a drink for $17. When we came in it was very busy but the staff was very friendly and we waited only about 10 minutes to get our food even though there were only two people on staff. This is a local gem and it is worth stopping by. It is also family friendly. Even though the dining area is small they still had high chairs to use. Check it out for yourself!

The food is fantastic. Any time I bring back a gyro or hummus everyone devours it. The owner is from Lebanon and makes really authentic food along with some more American items (pizza, philly cheese steak) for those who might be a bit picky. They make their own bread/pita/pizza dough. The portions are great and you really get a good bang for your buck. To top it all off, Pita’s really has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You can tell that they have amassed a pretty sizeable group of regulars. It’s just that type of place.
