This is one of my FAVORITES in crested butte. Their food hits the spot ever. single. time. Ive had alot of different options here and all of it has been amazing. The staff is also always very welcoming, funny, and friendly. They also have different soups every day (in the winter) which is perfect for alittle Aprés Ski!
They also have events like trivia night and beer pong so keep an eye out for those.
Give this place the credit they deserve & try it out!!

When I arrived for pickup, I tried to tack on an order of hummus and pita to my existing to-go order. This ended up being a 20 minute wait for a dish that they should be able to whip up in under a minute. The staff were very unprofessional but to be honest, what can you expect from some highschoolers? It seemed like the place was severely understaffed (1 cook on a busy Friday night) and run by an absentee owner. The kid who I’m assuming was the manager even tried calling the owner and ofc got no answer. The glowing reviews are odd because the gyros were about the same quality you’d find in a mall food court but 2x the price.

Great pita spot and sports bar. It was so quality, we stopped back in Crested Butte after our camping just to eat here twice! The OG, the pulled pork, and the cheese steak all were next level. AND BE SURE TO GET FRIES. THEY ROCK. They also have a lovely outdoor eating area where you can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere that the town offers.

The chicken shawarma pita was incredibly tasteless. Seems more geared towards picky children than someone looking for a quality meal. This one needs a full makeover IMO. Great atmosphere and place to watch a game, though.

Casual order at-the-counter restaurant serving tasty Mediterranean (and other) foods with a great daily happy hour and a large dog friendly patio in the summer. Located in a great central part of CB. Lots of vegetarian options. Ordered some beers and rice bowls which were tasty and very filling.

This place has been here forever, but has increased in capacity and in its menu. Soup is homemade everyday and is delicious. Rice dishes, awesome. Pita’s obviously. Happy hour is a GREAT happy hour between 3pm(?) and 6pm. Prices are higher than I would like, but great place to check out if you are visiting and want to check out a local eatery.

It was disappointing grilled chicken pita and Calcutta bowl for us. The food was below average based on experience at other places. You get the water by yourself and the dispenser area looked unhygenic although I couldn’t really tell if it was just looks of it or is it for real. The washrooms were not great either. The prices are reasonable but for the food we got, it wasn’t worth it. The atmosphere was great and it seems like lots of people like this place. But for us, it wasn’t worth it and mostly disappointing.

Recently I visited the Pitas in Paradise on Elk Avenue in Crested Butte (they also have a location in Gunnison, which I have not yet visited).
It was lunchtime on a weekday, and the patio was packed on a beautiful June afternoon.
We waited in line to order inside near the bar area, and there were about 10 people in line ahead of us.
Once you order, they give you a number and then the wait staff brings your food to your table.
I ordered a large Caesar salad with gyro meat, and my brother ordered the O.G., which is a gyro with curly fries.
The gyro meat on my large Ceasar salad was a little dry, and their dressing was a little uninspired.
The curly fries were the highlight of the meal.
However, the patio seating was festive and there is great people-watching. The inside bar was pretty packed for a weekday afternoon, and there is ample indoor seating.

Awesome place. Great and friendly service. Amazing selection of pitas and drinks. Cool vibe and lots of tvs for sports on Saturday. Chicken Schwarma was fantastic and the Greek tahin salad was awesome. Great beers.

Solid place that’s been here for a while with both indoor and outdoor seating. TVs inside playing popular sports. Drinks are self serve fountain, and the soup bar usually has 2 selections, and it’s always good – bean & ham is awesome. I usually order a classic gyro with double meat. The gyro meat is similar texture to a Philly cheese steak sandwich. It’s ok on flavor, their bread is great, and the portion size is generous.
