Hard to rate. Menu is very limited: it’s one of those “build your own” places like the old Pita Pit. Staff had no idea what “Kafta” is and I realized I was in the Lebanese version of Subway. Most of the menu had “Detroit” in the name. I get that the owner is probably from that area but still, could have made everything more Middle-Eastern sounding. What I ordered ended up being pretty good. Not a crowded place inside, very spacious, clean bathrooms, parking could have been better but way ahead of GLE in that department. Compared to SSS down south, I think this place is nicer on the inside, and the food is probably higher quality since South Side Six hasn’t been good since 2017.

My husband and I decided to try this place because he had heard a lot of good things about it. Those good reviews turned out to be correct! This was some delicious Mediterranean food. The ingredients were fresh tasting and the service was awesome. The workers were helpful and personable and made me feel confident in their suggestions. I was iffy on some of them, but they added to my bowl and made me go “oh wow!”
Favorite part? The house made hummus and pita chips. SO GOOD.

My husband and I were looking for something different than our usual places and we are so happy we stopped by and tried Pita Way. The staff was very nice and helpful explaining the menu items. My husband had The Detroit Gyro and I had the Legacy Bowl. Everything was delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be back soon.

Atmosphere was quiet. Seemed to be a new staff. Service was still great. Came about 45 minutes before closing. Food didn’t quite look like the picture. It was okay. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. The portion of side of fries were extremely small for the price.

I always love to go to Pita Way, the service is a 10 every time!! I definitely recommend the dark meat chicken, build it your way. Get a side of hummus and chips!! American sized portions, I usually get a bowl and make 2 meals out of it (with a big side of hummus and chips, of course). I have yet to be served by someone grumpy, everyone always seems happy and very helpful, great job Rossford team!! I’ll be back I’m sure

I gave 4 stars because although the food is good, it isn’t authentic of greek or middle-eastern styles. The mini feast had decent portion sizes but they also “ration” the bread by piece and then upcharge $1/piece so be aware of what you are getting.

First time going and I must say the whole experience was amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Was greeted with i believe manager or maybe owner? He was fantastic with my husband, son and I. Let us try some of the items. Best Mediterranean food we have had! And their gyro sauces are dairy free!! No yogurt!! Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. Our 3 year even ate the food! Fries especially the dill feta are the best! Thank you for such a great experience..your employees are doing good things. We need more places to like this one

I’ve got to be honest here, because that is what people are going to want. This is not tradition Mediterranean food to me. It was more of a “fusion” and I don’t mean that in a bad way, but it just wasn’t what I was expecting, it’s interesting how you can pick and choose what you want, but be mindful of the flavor combinations…
I tried the Detroit Gyro and it was just okay, sort of bland. The sauce really didn’t seem to compliment the meal (the sauce is what was recommended to me by the staff, which were awesome, super friendly people). Or maybe I am just use to what I normally think of when I get a Gyro in Cleveland, Best Gyros or in BG at Yala Kol. They are much larger and more authentic I believe.
My son got the white meat chicken shawarma and it was okay, some of the chicken he said seemed “weird” to him, so I tried it and some of the pieces seemed tough to me, again, kind of bland taste. We both made it a meal and received fries and they were pretty tasty and nice and hot, so that was good.
Daughter got a bowl with friend chicken pieces and she said that was good but didn’t like the rice. I tried the rice and thought it was good just had a lot of saffron taste to it, which I actually like, but you know how kids are……..
I honestly forget what my wife got, it was a folded over pita that had melted cheese, chicken and other things in it. She said that she liked it. I did not try it however, so I can not comment.
Pricing was sort of on the high side, which is common for the area and just about where ever you go these days. …So, ultimately, it’ll be interesting to see how this places does, considering that Yala Kol is literally 1000ft to the North. I’d say try the Gyro and Shawarma at both places and come back to comment. I’m all for more food places, it just brings more options to the table, so to speak.
Thanks for reading my review.

Delicious healthy food options! The staff is kind and generous about trying samples of menu items. I enjoyed the Legacy Bowl with gyro protein. Helpings are so big that I have leftovers.

There were 4 guys working when me and my little family came in. EVERY SINGLE ONE was so overly friendly and kind. We’re from Chicago and are visiting the area as we move. They literally have us excited to be in the area! They’re so fun and kind and went OUT of their way to make sure we knew what to order, gave us recommendations, went out of their way to be fun and so welcoming i cant express that not ONLY was the service THE BEST but the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I will definitely be back for the food but will GLADLY return for the ABSOLUTELY amazing humanity. In a world full of crazy its so refreshing to come across a place full of happy people!!
