The chicken crave pita with a gluten free wrap was awesome! The gluten free wrap didn’t fall apart really easily like most GF tortillas do.

I’ve only been to one other location for this chain in Mason City, IA. Dined-in on 7/11/23 between 5:10pm-5:20pm. Prices were within reason for what your getting. Staff was solemn (most likely bored, sitting around listening to earbuds most of the time) but efficient and did their jobs so no problems there. This location could definitely use a remodel.. very worn & dated, Bare-bones location in comparison. Location doesn’t seem to get alot of volume.. seems like it could be run by one person instead; This was during prime dinner rush hour with only 6 other establishments within a .25 mile radius.

Food is good but not worth the pricing. Dine in area could’ve used a once over and is genertic. Staff have no personality whatsoever. Exactly what I expected it to be. No surprises.

Pitas always taste really good. But no one smiled or really even looked up at me today. I felt like just another customer today. The man taking my money did not greet me, look at me, or say thank you once. Uncomfortable experience.

I just happened upon this deli. I was hoping for something healthy to eat and I saw this and stopped in. I got the vegetarian falafel and it is excellent. And it is very healthy with quinoa and lettuce and tomato and feta cheese spinach and a cucumber sauce.

Just arrived at Pita Pit at 7:50 PM. Google listing and the sign on the door says they will close at 8 PM. The door is locked. Staff has some friends inside and they said sorry we’re closed. Bummer. We love the food. But wasted a drive.

I wish the Waterloo location would open back up. This location only has half of the menu it should and they don’t carry boom boom sauce anymore. The pitas seem to be about half the size the Waterloo location had as well. I guess it’ll do since it’s the only location around anymore. The staff seems depressed to be working there and aren’t very friendly. Also, wearing one headphone in while serving customers is unprofessional

When I was in college a few years ago, I would frequently go to this Pita Pit and it was great! You could use pocket points to get great deals on food and build whatever Pita you wanted.
