Had a great experience at this pita Mediterranean spot! I tried the falafel bowl with rice and chicken, and it was flavorful, filling, and nicely balanced. Also had the falafel shawarma gyro with spicy sauce — absolutely loved the kick ️

The overall vibe was really welcoming and comfortable. I went with my family, and it was a hit with everyone. The kids especially enjoyed the crispy fries, and we wrapped it up with baklava, which was the perfect sweet ending.

Great food, nice feel, and a place that works well for families. Will definitely be back!

Great food at a reasonable price. Their Greek fries are excellent and are always freshly made. Usually a pretty quiet atmosphere in the corner of Walmart with plenty of clean, open tables. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but given that everything is made fresh it’s completely understandable. Try it if you can!

First time diner. I was unaware of the business, being located inside a Walmart. Menu prices looked reasonable with plenty of variety. I ordered the Giant Gyro (beef) combo (side of grilled veggies and a drink). The Gyro was priced just under $10 and the upgrade to a combo was an additional $4.

THE GOOD:
My Gyro was terrific. Lots of beef. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce and got loads of it. Fresh veggies and a soft pita bread to round things out.

The menus were easy to read with several LED monitors showing off the food. Plenty of variety (beef, chicken, falafel, shrimp). The dining area was clean and spacious, and the drink center was well-stocked. Oh, they had diet Dr. Pepper! So hard to find diet drinks other than Diet Coke/Pepsi.

NOT SO GOOD:
Skip the grilled veggies. I made the mistake of trying to be a bit healthier. They were out of zucchini, so I only got carrots which weren’t good. Even if they were complete, I’d still steer clear of this side.

UPSIDE:
I spoke to the manager about the veggies and he explained that they got poor quality zucchini from their supplier and had to throw them out. Ok, but give the customer a chance to order something else instead. The upside was that he was not only apologetic but offered to replace the dish with something else, free of charge. That’s good customer service and the right way to handle it. I’ll update this review if needed, but I’m basing my score on the manager’s response, not the poor side dish.

SUMMARY:
A diamond in the rough. Great food, great service all around. I look forward to eating here again soon!

I just discovered the restaurant when I had to make a quick Walmart run. It was bright, had a good atmosphere and I haven’t had Mediterranean food in a while so I decided to give it a shot!

Their mixed meat gyro was really good! Good beef and chicken with a nice tzatziki sauce. I also tried the funella fries after seeing their promo videos for it in the restaurant and they were not good. The fries themselves were too sweet, not like real funnel cake that needs the powdered sugar to sweeten it up, and the Nutella sauce was bad. It tasted like it was Walmart brand “Nutella,” which isn’t great. The dessert is overpriced and not tasty, I’d recommend getting something else.

The food at PITA was flavorful and satisfying. I tried the falafel and the chicken shawarma with hot sauce and rice, and both were well done. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft inside, with good seasoning. The chicken shawarma was juicy and tender, and the hot sauce added the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. The rice paired nicely with everything and rounded out the meal. Overall, a solid, tasty option for a quick and filling meal.

I had the grilled chicken with rice, topped with tzatziki sauce, along with vanilla fries and a chocolate topping at Pita Mediterranean, and everything was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the tzatziki added a fresh, creamy flavor that paired perfectly with the rice. The vanilla fries with chocolate topping were a surprisingly great treat—crispy, sweet, and indulgent. Overall, the food was flavorful, satisfying, and well-prepared. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend!

Been to Pita in Watkinsville once and here twice. Food was lukewarm both times we got it and service times were slower than expected. All of that to say, I really love their sauces, meats, definitely the Greek fries. The food isn’t lacking but wish with how long we had to wait, the food would at least be warm.

We came to Walmart to specifically order from PITA. The woman in the picture ignored us for 10 minutes. She was the only person there at the time but she only had 1 customer that was already there and had order before we even walked up. There is a kiosk to order but I had a question about an item before I ordered it. Since she would not acknowledge us I order something different. I ordered extra sauce she didn’t give me that pause. Also the item I ordered was supposed to have tomatoes on it. When I told her that there were no tomatoes on it she told me there was, when I got home there were no tomatoes on my order. Another gentleman that works there finally did show up. When I told him that the other woman had ignored us for over 10 minutes and never did acknowledges the entire time we were there. He just made excuses. Then I hear her say “what did she say?” with an attitude. I said “that was rude she was rude and looked at the gentleman. She then said with even more attitude “when was I rude?!”. I told her I wasn’t arguing with her and walked out. I will never go back here again.
