A friend recommended this place. Glad that we stopped by. Great food, amazing space. It has happy hour menu 3-6pm with great drinks and food. Had a greek pita/pizza, delicious but slight sweet. Also got chicken gyro, tasty! Only con was they seem short staffed. It took a while to get the food and to get the check… we started stacking our own plates.

I enjoy this place.
I took the Mediterranean platter.
The food is OK. They give only 1 dalma cut in half. About 1/4 of tomato cut in 4 piaces with tones of green. The platter comes with 2 fellafels, not extremely fresh but OK. The babaganush is OK. The main is the parsley in this dish , if you don’t like parsley this isn’t for you.
The pita wasn’t very warm. Tones of bread. The salsas were OK.
I compare this food with the same eaten in Greece. Obviously, the tsadziki was a bit disappointing, no garlic at all! Strange !
The food wasn’t old or anything. Just a bit plane to me.
Kind services, timely and friendly. I sit on the back patio. The interior is very nice. The patio seam was a bit abandoned.
Overall, it’s a good spot for this town It is OK.
If I compare it to original Greek food, I would give it a 2 star’s. It is more of americanized Greek and Arabic marrocon mix food.

Our server, Luis did an Amazing job. Ask for him when y’all come here. The GREATEST customer service ever. The food is SOOOO delicious!!! We started off with the Jalapeno Cilantro Hummus, OMGeeeeee!!! You HAVE to try it if you don’t, you are definitely missing out. The place is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming and I felt like I was at home. The staff here are very attentive, they do not disappoint. We had the chicken pasta salad with extra dressing. I can’t say enough about the food. It hits the Spot!! I will be returning to this Pita Jungle for sure. Come hungry, leave full, content and Happy. Great Job to the wait staff and the Manager.

Valerie Fenton served me and my son. It’s like she knew exactly what we wanted. I ask for overcooked dry chicken to soak up hot sauce and I receive it. Even though it’s viewed as a sin by meat lovers I don’t care for the meat flavor just texture and its ability to carry hot sauce into my mouth like a spicy sponge of heaven. She asked the cooks to do it for me and I wanted to marry her but sadly she is taken and I seen him, blonde hair blue eyed alternative guy with the coolest hair styles Ive ever seen. They are a perfect match for each other! So sadly that’s out the bag…..just like this food I rush to get into my mouth cause it’s so good. Would recommend. Also get a blue moon in a bottle. Glasses are pointless and just waste water, ice and time! Alaysha or some chick that thinks firefighters are hot always makes my son feel special and talks to him every chance she gets. Spenser works behind the bar and kills it! The cooks are a riot and breathe life into the corporate stink fest that fills the service industry. Blegh. I don’t want to go to a restaurant and feel like Im eating with a bunch of snobs who don’t even put their own grocery carts away at the store. Cool outside are to eat at and inside there is even a couch to eat at instead of a booth or table. Come check this place out!!!

To start, I am rather skeptical of a Mediterranean restaurant that offers Mexican and other international foods. We were starving when we stopped here for lunch and we were quickly seated. Our waitress was pleasant. After eating lots of Middle Eastern food on the east coast, we were expecting more from this place. The food was reasonably priced but just about average.

I ordered multiple meals to go and I specifically said no pickles on my 2 shawarma pitas and yet they put pickles all over both, and it was drenched in sauce and barely had any lettuce. I couldn’t even finish it after 2 bites because it was literally nothing but sauce. Pita Jungle Downtown Phoenix has really went downhill and I am highly disappointed!!

Pita Jungle has been in steady rotation for me and my friends for a long time.
My favorite dishes are the chicken lavash wrap and the seared ahi tuna with the hummus variety. They also have some of the best iced tea around, and I love combining them.
The tuna and hummus is perfect for sharing or a solo meal – and I especially love the cilantro jalapeño and red bell pepper hummus.
Don’t sleep on the happy hour! The portion sizes are great for a light meal or snack, and it’s truly a treat to come here when I’m free in the late afternoon.
The servers are always kind, whether I come in for dining or to pick up.

We went there last week and the food was totally tasteless. We had to force ourselves to eat it!!
It’s not Mediterranean food at all.
No taste no flavor.
It’s not halal also.
Apart from food, everything else is good.
