Wow.
I stopped here by accident, for real… and it really is a bit of a hole in the wall, but keep reading.
My flight crew had some weather issues on a flight and made a stop at the Haskell airport, got a ride to town, and stopped here completely randomly – (almost grabbed a burger at Sonic across the street!) – without even looking it up.
The price was a tad higher than I expected (my prejudice, not slamming them), but the food – the brisket, specifically was worth it. I’ve eaten at plenty of good barbeque places while on the road as a pilot, and this barbecue was perfectly smoked, and quite moist and tasty. The sides were good, and the barbecue sauce may actually be my favorite I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It’s a pity I’ll probably never have another excuse to stop here!

My wife and I were travelling thru Texas and looking for a place to eat. Even though they had just closed and were cleaning up they made us sandwiches and chips to go. Awesome customer service and great food.
