Main meal was pretty good! Wished for more but still satisfied. Sopapilla was just okay. The sugar topping tasted stale though? I’d go back for the savory food though! Fantastic server.

We drove 40 minutes one way to try Cantrinas after several recommendations. It’s a typical small-town Mexican bar and grill: nachos, fajitas, burritos, etc. Nothing on the menu really stood out as a must-try dish, though they did have a brisket chimichanga. My weakness for fried burritos smothered in queso made the decision easy.
Chips and salsa arrived quickly. Both were good, the chips were freshly fried and the salsa had solid flavor. No complaints there. Since we had a large group, we ordered two large quesos while we waited. Unfortunately, “large” turned out to be misleading. Each queso was about the size of a teacup. While it tasted great, it was absolutely not worth the $9 price tag.
Our food came out about 15 minutes later, and once again the portion size was disappointing. The chimichanga was small, topped with what amounted to a spoonful of queso. It tasted great, but I finished it in about four bites. The rice and beans were standard and forgettable.
Overall, the food tasted good, but the portions did not justify the price. At the end of the day, it’s rice, beans, meat, and tortillas, and you could easily make better, larger portions at home for a fraction of the cost.

This place is incredible. The food was fast coming out and so delicious. No one was hungry when we left. Also the place is very clean and surprisingly big. The parking lot was packaged but there was no wait time. We will definitely be back to try some mixed drinks.

Beautiful restaurant, don’t wait to try this place. We were seated immediately. Great customer service. Excellent selection and larger than expected portions.They even have vegetarian options. We had Camarones Yucatan and Cheese Steak Burrito with chicken instead. My shrimp were cooked to perfection. My husband said his burrito was excellent. I wish I had saved room to have some dessert. We will definitely be repeat customers.

We’ve eaten at Catrina’s a handful of times and every time they have been consistent with everything. I have tried many of their items, thus far, and I haven’t had a bad meal or service one time! This time was no different! The atmosphere is very nice. We won’t go anywhere else.
