I like the modern look of the inside of this restaurant. Was modern and was clean. They have a buffet here but ended at a certain time. The host was very friendly and did check up on me. The only issue I had was the food, I had their Seafood Sinigang, which had the shrimp. shrimp was a bit hard like it was frozen, the broth did not have enough seasoning, definitely needed more asim to the soup, I could barely taste it and needed more of it. The vegetables tasted okay, and their halo-halo was decent. For the cost of food to be really high here I expected it to be more delicious, but was very disappointed.

It’s a bit odd to find Filipino food here, this place you do need to try them.

I usually resent Filipino buffets because they’re never good enough or they’re flat out too salty.
Pistahan is somehow a spot I’m excited to return to and bring friends when I introduce them to Filipino food.
Proud to have this food in San Leandro. Worth a destination designation. Don’t need to trek to Daly City anymore– that’s wsup
Plus points, the kitchen sounds poppin like the titas are straight up fiesta-ing. Love to hear it.

I finally visited Pistahan after hearing so much praise from my friends, and it was definitely worth the hype! Parking was plentiful, and there was no wait on a Wednesday afternoon, so it’s a great time to check it out.
While their menu offers a variety of Filipino dishes, their Kare-Kare is the star of the show. We tried the Beef Kare-Kare and were impressed by the generous serving of both vegetables and protein. The Lechon Kawali was also delicious and satisfying.
I use to go to a closer Filipino restaurant, but Pistahan is now my go-to spot. It’s definitely worth the extra trip!

A wreath of new (to me) food! Easy to approach buffet. Tried a little of almost everything that was out at the time. I would recommend this place to anyone curious to try a new style of food in a low stress environment. Comfortable seating, plenty of room for stacking plates at your table for when you go back for more. Seems like a great spot for when you’re hungry, can’t decide what to have, and need to eat before the hanger. Good variety of options

For the first time I ate Thai food and I liked it, the buffet has 6 or 7 different dishes, soup and dessert, for the price it seemed fine to me, although if it had been hotter the food would have been better.

Wonderful Filipino Restaurant.
The daily 11-3 Buffet was overwhelmingly delicious. The atmosphere is a celebration to the Filipino culture. Festive, laughing multiple families, all talking in Tagalog. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

We ordered 3 dishes (buffet is only for lunch), and were really pleased with all of them. Unlike some trendy restaurants that over complicate simple dishes, the Pancit bihon was traditional and well executed. Kare kare was beef instead of oxtail, but still had satisfying meat. Pinakbet had great flavors. I’d pass on the halo halo next time, but there are a few other desserts to choose from! Very much recommend!
