The atmosphere is great and I love that they support so many local producers. The prices are slightly steep, but I won’t complain too much because that goes back to the local community that they’re supporting. The coffee from Pisgah Coffee Roasters is excellent.

A great little bakery with fresh breakfast breads. We got the cardamon bun and the cinnamon swirl and both were great. They also have they old. If you’re looking for a deal. Great stop on the way to the Blue ridge parkway.

Consistently awesome! Everything from the incredible baked goods to the amazing pizzas. There is usually a crowd but it’s worth slowing down and savoring the incredible food and laid back vibe.

Super cute place. Fun vibe. But would probably benefit on focusing on making one thing amazing instead of bread, sweets, coffee, bagels, sandwiches, pizza etc and just be meh.
We ordered two sandwiches on ciabatta bread which was stale. I asked for a different type of bread, the multi grain was given to me I believe and it tasted very burnt. The flavor in the chicken salad was great. But the chicken needs to be cut way more to be compatible with a sandwich. Espresso machine was down, it happens. No lids or sleeves for the drip coffee. Which is just icing on the cake when you’re just wanting to enjoy lunch.

Amazing amazing amazing! Just get there early or between the rushes because you won’t find parking. The place has been open long enough now for the “New Restaurant in town” to wear off and it’s still just as popular. Besides the amazing food, the staff is so nice and cool to chat with.

This was some of the best Avocado toast and Granola bowl I have tasted. We travel the US and this ranks right at the top. The food was delicious and the smells while eating of fresh bread baking and the service and friendliness of the workers are amazing.

The photos don’t do it justice. The best breakfast sandwich i’ve had in a long time! I got an Amaretto Latte with Oat milk and loved that was well. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and even answered personal questions and gave recommendations for the area. 10/10 experience and amazing food.

The food is delicious. Fresh breads, pastrys, and foods. I haven’t had a bad meal. The staff is nice and the dining area is kept clean.
Parking is hit or miss when they are busy, but definitely worth the stop.

As a top Google Local Guide with over 130 Million Views, we’ve collaborated with the best restaurants to write about the food & service.

We look for restaurants that source from local farms & producers. I called before our visit and spoke with Mandy & when she described all of the North Carolina companies they source from, we decided to go for it!

These reviews take time….from researching prior, taking pics/videos, asking questions, and observing the service, tasting and then writing the contribution & uploading to Google Maps. I hope the owner appreciates the following:
We skipped the complimentary breakfast at our hotel to do this review. I waited to have the Asheville sourced coffee at this bakehouse.

My husband and I both agreed that the food was really tasty! I loved my egg sandwich with havarti cheese on sourdough with the North Carolina Rosemary Ham! The bagel with cheddar, and Hickory Nut Gap sausage was also delish!

I also took a Cardamom Bun to-go for later. Check out my pics/videos.

Enjoy

Incredible food with great service. We tried the avocado toast with a fried egg, and it was one of the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Coffee was great. We also tried their chocolate almond croissant and it was 10/10. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
