Look. It’s Pinal County’s version of Pete’s Fish and Chips. And in that role, Pirate’s does a decent job at a great pircepoint. I love the sauce and always order extra. I wouldnt take a date her but it works for something for a family on the way home.

We ordered a 4 piece fish and chips dinner and a 15 piece shrimp dinner. The fish was like dried jerky from being microwaved until dried out. I peeled the outer breaded layer, the fish had shrunk at least 25%. Literally not eatable. The shrimp was tender but not much flavor. Very few fries in both dinners. For $28+, absolutely not the place to go. I remembered 20 years ago it was good food.

I had a hamburger and was not impressed. However, I got to taste the shrimp and fish, and those were pretty good. It’s an outside to eat place and right by the road. So the atmosphere was okay. The lady who took my order was nice enough. Overall, it’s not bad at all. Just burgers aren’t there thing.
