We used to frequent P3 when we lived in WF and we would always eat here when we visited our family even afrer we moved overseas. Today we had the pleasure to meet Diane again after many many years. She has worked for P3 for 42 years. She remembered us and even some of the dishes we would order. She brought to us fond memories of our family members who have gone before us. The food at P3 has always been so delicious and there is a wide variety of home cooked meals for a great price. Diane and all the staff are friendly, are quick to take your orders and are attentive. Brady, the owner took the time to take a photo with us. Thanks P3 for the taking great care of us. We look forward to seeing you next time we come to WF. Sincerely, Nora Jean and Mark

Service and food were amazing. I’m very happy with my burger. The smell when you walk in is a little off putting but I think that might just be how it smells here because I smelled it before in a different restaurant on a previous trip. Also the ritz cracker packets were super cute. Also, the prices are unreal! Super affordable!

So I like hitting little restaurants, mom and pop as it were. Pioneer NO.3 is pretty old school. Don’t know if it’s changed much since 1949 when it says it opened, don’t even know if they’ve redone the parking lot… it’s not a bad thing. You can get some semis in there. The service is what you would expect in a small town diner, not hovering over you, but very responsive.
I had the Catfish Basket, 5 pieces light golden brown, tasted like corn meal with maybe a touch of flour, 3 hush puppies, and fries (also a light golden color). I wouldn’t call the basket amazing, but it was solid. Had to get the onion rings, smaller in size and thickness, but not over cooked, moderate on the breading and the onion shined thru. All washed down with very nice sweet tea.
All in all it was solid, but next time I come by I’ll try the recommended fried steak, just because.

I’m 20 years old with a old mind. So when it came to classic stuff. The music players play old school music. Loved it. Great food tasted like classic homemade food. First time going there. And I’m planning on going there every month. The worker and guest are very polite and caring. If you are looking for a calm restaurant with good food and music. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Taco salad shell was crisp and fresh. Meat was unseasoned, and it had beans in it. Was disappointed in menu, have heard so much about their Mexican food, bud didn’t want French fries and coleslaw with my Mexican food

Had the chicken fried chicken, salad and mashed potatoes, the only thing worth eating was the salad and it was only a saucer with some lettuce on it , the fake potatoes was nasty, no salt, no butter just water and potato flakes , the roll was nothing to write home about either. My husband had the 2 pork chop dinner and you could have read the news paper thru them they were so thin , he said they tasted like medicine.
We will not be going back !

Cute place. Friendly. A couple things were just “off”.
Steak was difficult to cut and a little too tough (needed an actual steak knife). Peas were good, but the squash was overcooked with no flavor (tasted like it was Just boiled in plain water).
Catfish and cod were ok, but tarter sauce seemed to have been made with sour cream instead of mayo (yuck).
Hush puppies were good. The portions were good.
Over all disappointing. Traveling through town and the reviews were good. Would have rather paid a little more for more flavor.
To top it off, waited about 10-15 minutes for the check. Finally went up front and they said the check was not correct…. ended up charging $6 more than what the check was.

If you want your chicken unseasoned and your beans out of a can eat there. Nastiest place I have ever been in, stay away. Place is run down.
