The staff is super friendly. They greeted me as I entered and thanked me for my business when I left. The food was phenomenal. I got the smoked brisket platter. I will definitely be going back.

We couldn’t wait to try the food. We went right around 5 pm and service was prompt and we had no problem finding a table as there was only a few other people there. While we all thought the food was tasty (brisket, mac and cheese and wagon rolls), everything was lukewarm at best and the mac and cheese was completely cold. If the food was warmer, we all agreed it would have been a 10/10. We wish they would have had the Alabama BBQ sauce to try with the wagon rolls, but they were out. The staff were friendly, and their service was prompt. We will give it another try, Hoyt food will be warmer next time.

Brisket was dry and my sides of beans and mac and cheese were incredibly bland. Service was fine, price is somewhat high. I also ended up getting either viral gastroenteritis or food poisoning there and ended up puking all night.

Madison needs more BBQ placecs and Pink Heifer meets the need. Ordered pull pork basket and brisket basket. Slaw is excellent. Baked beans very good.
