Probably the best Chinese food I have EVER HAD!! Very juicy and delicious!! Finally came and been out here for 7 months but then be going home. One more time!! Egg rolls were very good and the Pepper Steak was succulent!! Egg drop soup was very good as well!! Very nice people here as well. Good to only be about a mile away or so. Good to go to Tappers then come here!!

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The general Tsos chicken was fresh and delicious! I love that they don’t put veggies in their fried rice and it’s amazing. This is the only Chinese food I’ve also ever had that didn’t make me hungry again in one hour. The service was fast and friendly. I look forward to this once a week!

Best Chinese I’ve had since moving to Michigan 8 years ago! Loved the egg rolls. Sweet and sour chicken was delicious! The beef chop suey with crispy noodles on top was amazing!! Fried rice was amazing! Everything was delivered fresh and hot! Will definitely be back!

We just went there for a Christmas dinner. The staff were so awesome even with a packed house waiting for their order. We ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken & chicken fried rice. The portion sizes were ginormous and the food was amazing. We ordered ahead online (the day before) and the process was very smooth.

I used to love this place and never had a problem. Until tonight. I walked in an hour before they closed and ordered orange chicken. I got home and the orange chicken did not taste like it usually did. Also it had very little sauce. What I realized is that it was probably plum sauce. There was barely any sauce to begin with. It did not look like orange sauce and did not taste like orange sauce no matter how much I stirred It up. I changed my review from five stars to one because this is absolutely ridiculous. For some reason this is happening with a lot of Chinese restaurants I’ve been going to lately where things are getting sloppy. Even orange chicken at other places is changing recipes to taste like chili sauce with no orange. Even the styrofoam container was melted and bowing. I called back because it took me a good 20 minutes to 30 minutes to get home and there was only 30 minutes till they close at that point. Rhe only thing they offered was for me to come back up and get some more sauce. Usually my food is hot when i get home, this time ice cold. So it probably wasn’t that hot to begin with. It didn’t even taste like orange chicken the amount of sauce wasn’t even the whole problem. What does more sauce do o
If the original sauce wasn’t orange sauce. And when you cook it, it carmelizes..how am I supposed to reheat the chicken with the sauce to get it to carmelize and glaze? Absurd!

We did DoorDash.. General Tso’s Chicken was fantastic. Chicken was probably the best cut of chicken I’ve had with this type of meal. Wasn’t sure how hot their sauce was so I just ordered Medium and it was very good and flavorful. Next time I’ll try Hot. Crab Meat Rangoo were kind of soggy but that was probably from the drive to our hotel. Definitely recommend this place.

I’ve eaten here 5-6 times, but I probably won’t again. The wait time has been terrible every time. When I order online it says 25 minutes, but they’re never on time. They aren’t even consistently behind, they’re all over the place. Sometimes they’re 20 minutes late and sometimes they’re over an hour late. I have trouble recommending this place because the service is terrible and I’d rather not waste my afternoon/evening crammed in their restaurant with a bunch of other people waiting on mediocre food for over an hour.

My food was so underwhelming I had to write a review about it! There is no way this is the same Pings that I’ve been used to for the past 5 years. I always order the same thing, sweet and sour chicken dinner with an extra egg roll (a meal suitable enough for my husband and I). I called the food in and was given a number for pick up instead of asking my name (first clue, Pings has never done that). I pick up the dinner and the price is a bit higher (no biggie inflation is hitting us from everywhere, right?). I got the food home and opened the box and noticed the food looks very different, fried rice is just white rice with soy sauce for a hint of brown coloring… and the chicken is all around a different dish than I’ve ever ordered from here. The taste of this food was nothing like I’ve experienced before from Pings. I tossed the entire dinner in the trash. I am so bummed out about this, Pings was my favorite Chinese restaurant in the metro Detroit area.

I have been looking for a good authentic Chinese restaurant for months since the one near my home closed. Ping’s is the real deal, the food is the best I’ve had and the portions are huge. So happy I found this place and we’ll be coming back again soon!
