6 of us ate here last night. We ordered shrimp tempura, crispy wonton, 3 32E, and 2 pho.
First of all, after years of going to Vietnames restaurants this place is ok. I can recommend better ones. Food is decent but not great.
What can I say about the service, not even a smile at all, not even just once. It felt we were a burden.
Also they should change their oil. Our wonton and tempura were dark. Even the one seated across from us, his chicken was dark.

I eat pho quite a bit and was recommended to eat at this place by a few people. Tried the peanut sate pho soup and it is way too sweet. Can literally taste all the white sugar they must add to the broth. Maybe the onions are caramelized too and that doesn’t help. Not sure why others like it. Maybe they are addicted to sugar more than I am but I could not even eat any of the broth.
Great restaurant great location, very clean, friendly staff so only commenting on the peanut sauté soup. I would not recommend it. My go to is noodle King in the north.

Super clean place. The service is good. The onion cake was okay, a little dry, a sauce would make it better. The vermicelli bowl was okay, lots of noodles and vegetables; not amazing but not bad. The meat in it was cooked well but pretty flavorless, the spring roll filling was mushy and kind of unappetizing. The bun bo hue broth was disappointing; the broth and noodles were good but the variety of meat was not what is normally in a bun bo hue.

A piece Hair and 3 pieces of bone were in 3 different dishes. The quality control in the kitchen is way off. The meat seasoning/sauce is mediocre and doesn’t makeup for the shoddy food quality. Bubble tea is average at best. They add lychee pearl and I’m sure people love it but I find it over powers your chosen flavor so not my favourite. Service was typical subpar. Would not come back, there’s much better in the city.

My hubby and I have been loyal Pho Hoan Pasteur connoisseurs ever since we discovered the Kingsway Avenue location in Edmonton over a decade ago. We wound up moving to Medicine Hat, sadly far away from our beloved pho. Now we make sure to hit up the Quarry Park location any time we are in Calgary, and I savour the experience each and every time. The atmosphere is chill, relaxing, and the service is with a smile. And of course the pho is pho-nomenal every single time! I wish I knew where they get their tea because there’s nothing more comforting to me than a sip of their tea alongside a piping bowl of brisket and meatballs. We still have to drive a few hours for a truly amazing bowl of broth, but it’s worth it and we will continue visiting this location every time we’re in Calgary!

One of the best Pho, I have tried. Menus are easy to understand and order. Went on Saturday evening not quite busy. Pleasing interior with authentic viatnamese paintings. Their vermicelli dishes were not as good as thier noodle bowl. I personally like their fried shrimp and spicy beef pho with peanuts. The $15 XL soup bowl is great Value.
The staff was not very friendly and helpful, the waiter didn’t even bother to ask about the food or to refill water. We have to call 3 three times to get forks.
We drove 25 mins to get there, it’s totally worth the drive. If craving for pho this is the place to go.

Went in tonight for an ice coffee. Was a 10 minute wait for one ice coffee which was a little over half full. Not to mention that it seemed to be a terrible inconvenience for the woman behind the counter to make. Absolute waste of $6 and change. Unfortunately she asked me to pre pay and wait for the coffee too, so couldn’t even get her to top it off. Always something off every time I go into this restaurant, finally irritated enough to leave a review. Tonight was the last time I waste my money going to this place.

Amazing Vietnamese food! Even my small order of pho was super filling! Friend had the beef sate (peanut style) and says it was definitely on par with the best he’s had. Onion cakes were perfectly fried and the chicken salad rolls had large chunks of chicken and not just sandwich meat. Will be definitely coming back.
