This is a very cute cafe! It’s vegan/vegetarian and has so many amazing options. We ordered the spicy burger, broccoli, a tofu and veggie wrap and the dumplings. The ingredients were locally sourced and fresh. We found the quality of food to be great but the dumplings were not properly stuffed or cooked. I do recommend the wrap and the burger though and they also give you a bag of chips. I loved the location and the vibe of the place. If you are in Burlington, give it a try!

Wow! Vegan food that doesn’t even taste vegan?! This was a great find! Pingala Cafe & Eatery is a really cool cafe right on the banks of the Winooski River – you can sit outside on their porch and listen to the water flowing nearby! They have an excellent selection of salads, snacks, sandwiches, bowls, and other food – all vegan! It’s very healthy, and I believe almost everything is organic too?! Almost all foods can be made gluten-free as well, which is an added benefit. It looks like they have a good amount of different coffee drinks, so I’ll have to try that next time. However, regarding their food, their Crunchwrap Burger Bowl was really good – the girl behind the counter said many other things are as well. Other people are saying the French toast puffs are to die for, so I’ll be trying that next time too. I like the atmosphere of this place, prices are reasonable, and there is ample parking. All positives! Great place! Check it out!

I stopped here for a late lunch after my morning walk on the lake Champlain causeway and it was pretty perfect. There are picnic tables outside under trees, a small sitting area under the porch, and a great view of the mini river rapids. I got the Caesar salad wrap and it was one of the best wraps I had in my life. So crunchy and flavorful!! The Mac and cheese was good and different from most other vegan restaurants’ recipes. Highly recommend!

Delicious dishes. The seating area is very small. OK costumer service. Bathrooms are clean.

I enjoyed my meal at Pingala Cafe. I had the nacho cheesier nachos. The chips were the star of the show with a light homemade Dorito dusting. The rest of the toppings were tasty too. There is easy parking and it is right next to the beautiful flowing river.

Every time I visit Burlington, I stop at Pingala first! The location is beautiful, in an industrial building by the Winooski River. The food is amazing every time; no matter what I always enjoy myself. Their cheese sauce is divine! And with so many options, including dessert, you can eat all day! Lots of love and props to Pingala. I’ve been in love with this place for so many years!

If I lived in the area I would eat here every day! From the indoor warehouse vibe to the outdoor patio and picnic tables overlooking the Winooski River the atmosphere is only superseded by the friendly customer service and amazing food. We ate brunch or lunch there all three days of our stay and still have menu items to try next time we visit. The parking sign trays and reusable/recyclable hard plastic were a nice eco-friendly touches. The Breakfast Sammy and Crunchwrap Supreme were our favs. The French Toast Puffs were as tasty as they are innovative. The PB Jelly Jam shake rocked. My only criticism was that the MacNCheeze in the Buffalo MacNCheeze wrap wasn’t that cheezy. Can’t wait to visit again!

Score one for favor town . This eatery is a must stop if you enjoy delicious food regardless if you’re vegan or not. I wish I was located closer so I could try more of the menu. Look forward to being in the area again.

The food was incredible! The house patty, the chips, the s’mores and peanut butter chocolate cupcakes… I’d recommend everything! The table we sat at had this truly unique gnome house that had loads of personality. I will be back the next time I’m here!
