First time we ate here it was “ok”, this time was a Horrible experience! “Steak” night, ribeye was mostly fat! I ordered, medium well, got medium rare! No baked potatoes and 1 bottle of A1, the waitress was passing from table to table. Men’s bathroom was out of order. The RED paint on the chair ruined my husband shorts. We asked to speak to the owner, The waitress came back and said that it would be at least 30 Minutes before he could come speak to us! Did not try to resolve the issue at all! Very rude & uncaring response, Especially after paying over $80 in this establishment! We will never be go there, and we will NOT recommend it to anyone!

I’ve been here many times over the years, and the experience has always generally been positive. The last couple of visits however, the food has declined in quality. The Tim before last, I ordered a jacked up shrimp only, which is usually my go to. That time, it was drowned in mayo, and so salty it was hard to eat. The picture below is a blt I ordered this past e. At first, I thought it was a bacon sandwich. I like bacon as much as the next guy, but this was excessive. I would expect something more proportional.

A few of my Facebook friends ate here and posted about it. So I decided to try it out for myself…. SCRUMPTIOUS, DELICIOUS, FILING….! I had the Porter poboy fully dressed with jalapenos, fries and some pineapple swirl soft serve ice cream. There’s a $1 wing night on Wednesday after 4 and other activities concerning food. The girls that waited on us was very friendly and customer service was great. Most definitely going back!!!

Great food, very relaxed and easy on the budget restaurant. American food and American patriotic atmosphere. The shrimp poboy was overflowing with tasty shrimp. The roast beef poboy was shredded (not deli sliced) and the roast beef was super tender. The French fries are straight cut and fried perfectly. Staff are friendly and helpful.

They are now open at 6am for breakfast!

Everything is well lit inside with both table and both seating. Perfect place for young and old. Meeting friends or family, or swinging through their drive through. They have outside picnic tables. Parking lot is generous but parking in front can be challenging backing out of depending on traffic and if school has just let out in pine etc.

Not fancy, but CLEAN. Not eloquent, but Friendly. And very tasty!
The old Pine Malt Stand has been repainted, re-upholstered, repaired, refreshed and reopened,
Every one needs to return and retry their old favorites or pick a new one.
Good stuff.

This place is a little pricey. But if you don’t mind spending a little extra, then it’s well worth it. I’ve only eaten “the engineer”, which is a burger on Texas toast with onion rings, BBQ, cheese, etc.
It is always hot, fresh and juicy. They also have really good sweet tea!
