This is the perfect place to have a nice lunch or desert, or take home dinner for later because the sandwiches are huge and delicious. The Macarons we delicious as was the croissant. I highly recommend.

Croissants are like being in France – perfect flaky, crispy, buttery layers!

The hot breakfast croissant sandwich are truly delicious, and a very generous portions. For lunch, the chicken salad filled croissants are a great choice.

Wonderful richly roasted beans create exceptional lattes. And when paired their delicately crafted macarons is a delightful treat. My favorite is the lemon and traditional cream.

Whether breakfast, lattes, lunch, pastries or tarts, this is your must go to Pine Island restaurant

WOWZA!
The truly French style pastries and patisseries in this place are fabulous! This place is an absolute treasure to have on pine island!
How have I not known about this place for the past 3 years??!
This kind of quality I would expect to find literally in Paris, otherwise a very large city with a foodie neighborhood and strong food culture is where you’d find a place like this. But it’s here right here on pine island!
The croissants are so perfect. Every flavor…….. I’ve literally sampled basically every flavor.
The coffee is a bit too strong for me. It is not for the faint of heart. But my dad loves it.
Do yourself a favor and stop in. Getaway Cafe is a bit difficult to find, but well worth it when you get there.

The best breakfast and lunch spot on the island! They serve authentic French food at a fraction of the price you’d pay elsewhere. Their coffee and croissants are absolutely to die for. Best of all, it’s a family-owned business and from the moment you walk in they make you feel like you’re part of the family. Check it out u will absolutely love it ‍

We really stopping by. The line is a little intimidating but it moves so fast and just gives us more time to look at the pastries. We had the bacon egg croissant today. It was stuffed full and left us stuffed. Cappuccinos and macchiatos were so good. We sat out back and enjoyed the views.

I love, love, loveee this place so much! Not only do they have the best pastries and sandwiches, but the coffee is amazing too. I love coming here, grabbing a bite to eat and a coffee, and sitting outside. It’s so peaceful, and the people here are so friendly. I’ve tried everything, and it’s all so good!
Definitely come and check this place out, the earlier you come, the more variety of food options you get to choose from

This place is hidden way back in what artists to be an industrial park. But oh man is this delicious and adorable. I try to go every time I’m in town!! Love the regular and the chocolate croissants and the ham & cheese croissant.

An authentic French bakery. She offers some incredible food. It’s a little bit off the beaten track. But totally worth the detour.

Pastries and chicken salad croissant was amazing. Can’t wait to go back after they come back from vacation. They usually close the month of September.

They offer seating in the back that overlooks a large irrigation/drainage lake. It’s a pretty and quiet spot to enjoy a bite to eat.

Great food and service. We enjoyed the raisin croissant, and my daughter had the raspberry tart also, the egg sandwich was perfectly made.

The drinks were well made and not full of a bunch of powers.

I’d say this is a must go to little Cafe/ breakfast place. We’ve gone twice in a week. Lovely lady serving us both times. Great breakfast sandwiches, treats are amazing, and drinks are really tasty. Outdoor patio that we took our dog on is close to the water. Chairs need to be updated out there though. We really love this nice and quite place.
