The location is great, and the updates to the facility have made it feel fresh and inviting while still keeping that classic diner charm. The menu offers something for everyone, and the daily specials are always tasty and worth trying. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the food and service are consistently excellent every time we visit.
Their in-house fresh baked goods are absolutely delicious — a must-try! And I love that they also offer gift items, which adds a fun and unique touch.
It’s our go-to spot when we have family and friends visiting from out of town. If you’re looking for great food, good prices, and warm hospitality, Pine Grove Diner is the place to go!
Breakfast here is unbeatable. The omelets are generously stuffed with toppings and cooked perfectly every time. Their pancake varieties are creative, decadent, and delicious. The buttery biscuits smothered in rich sausage gravy are pure comfort, and the homemade pastries are simply outstanding. When you walk in, you’re greeted by a bakery case filled with muffins, pies, and other delicacies made fresh that morning.
Lunch never disappoints either. Everything is great, but I always get the double-decker turkey club which is piled high with quality turkey and perfectly cooked bacon that somehow satisfies both crispy-lovers and chewy-lovers alike. No matter when you come, portions are always generous, ingredients are always top-notch, and everything is prepared and presented with real care and expertise.
What truly sets Pine Grove apart, though, is the people. Whether you’re a daily regular or a first-timer, the staff makes you feel like family. Even at their busiest, the service never feels chaotic or rushed. The team handles the flow with a grace and ease that you rarely see. These are seasoned professionals who clearly take pride in what they do while making it seem effortless. The owner/operator’s commitment to upholding these standards is felt abundantly from the warm greeting when you walk in, throughout the impressive dining experience, and to the moment you leave already planning your next visit.
Don’t let the word “diner” fool you. Pine Grove delivers all the classic charm we love about a hometown diner while executing at a level that surpasses most restaurants. Some call it the Disney World of eating establishments with all the same excellence and magic, just without the crowds or humidity.
The bottom line is this isn’t just a must-stop if you’re in town. It’s a must-go-out-of-your-way-every-weekend-to-get-you-some-pancakes kind of place.
And one more tip: ask for the Maple Cream Pie. If you’re lucky enough that there’s a slice left, you’ll thank me.
Not so much today. Given burned inedible bacon. Waitress never came back to ask how our meal was. They were not crowded nor understaffed. No check brought to table. I had bacon removed from check after going up to counter to pay. I did not leave a tip. I hope this young lady changes her approach to the job or move on.
