Since 1951, Pine Drive has been one of Holcombe’s original resort locations. Our rich history on Lake Holcombe can be shown in our food. Homemade buns, rolls and hoagies, hand breaded appetizers, house made sauces and signature cocktails/mocktails are just a few reasons we are known as Holcombe’s Hidden Gem!

Loved the atmosphere, very cozy, the music was great.
Food was good, nice quantity, had fish dinner with Fries on Friday. Didn’t have to wait long, it was later in the evening and was not busy. I just didn’t like the ketchup. I generally only eat Heinz, but will eat Hunts, this was a restaurant brand. Going to try the pizza next time.
Food: …
Rather than addressing my request politely, he held the menu up to my face and abruptly told me the dish only comes with crushed chips. I calmly asked if there was any way to get more, but he raised his voice at me and told me no—then told me to calm down, even though he was the one being loud and confrontational.
The food itself was average, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t return based on how the situation was handled.
Seems you can’t respond to a response.
I’m really disappointed by how my concern was exaggerated and misrepresented. Instead of owning up to the mistake, it was twisted into something it wasn’t. I simply asked for chips because I was hungry — not drunk, not dehydrated, and certainly not causing a scene. We had only been on the water for a few hours after arriving in town that afternoon.
What’s truly unacceptable is being yelled at — especially as a woman — by a man in a bar for something as basic as asking for food. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and uncalled for. It’s unfortunate that a simple request turned into an uncomfortable and disrespectful experience.
My husband loves their burgers.
