Chinese Delight

a new (old) possibly new tradition for us. I’m not new to Chinese food, just my first time here. not knowing what to expect, honestly I was hoping for just something edible.
the food was great. better than most in my option.
even if not for Christmas Eve, if I’m ever in the mood for Chinese and in Howell. this is where I’m coming! not going to bother looking around for anywhere else..!!

Ordered through grub hub so expected it to be cold when it got here. It was. Warmed up quickly. Was still mediocre at best. Mostly gravy in a beef, chicken, and shrimp combo. Shrimp fried rice was bland but I could definitely taste the rancid oil it was cooked in. Egg rolls were weak but the only thing that was properly cooked. Hot and sour soup was gravy with about 5 strings of carrots and bamboo shoots. Plus some super yummy clumps of gooey mystery. Will not be ordering again.

Best food ever!!! I grew up and lived near downtown Howell, my family would eat there often and truly loved eating there and loved the hospitality. I just recently went there today to reminisce. That atmosphere is the same but was sad to see the place not what it used to be. But I could count on one thing and that was their amazing food! Very consistent, it tasted as I remembered. Very good food, will go again.

Fantastic food. I am very Suspicious about the quality and how often things are cleaned. This place has excellent food. All this place needs is a good spring cleaning. It just looks dirty. Would eat again but for the love of things clean the place a bit. Tables are sticky. Mirror is filthy. My fork had food on it. The bottom of our plates were filled with crusted food.

I ordered chicken fried rice and it was basically inedible. I ordered this because I figured it was a safe bet when trying a new restaurant. Nope, it was flavorless and the chicken was like the texture of silly putty. We also got the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken pieces were over-cooked and extremely dry. The sweet and sour sauce was really good though. I was gingery and delicious. I’m hoping I hit them on a bad night and they’re usually better, but the food was so bad I don’t think I’ll ever go back to find out.

First time here, all our regulars were closed. Five meals and nobody said their meal was good. Rice was under cooked and beef was cooked so long it was spongy. The flavor was good and spiced well, just disappointing quality. Next time I’ll wait for our regular restaurants to be open.

Chicken was dry, egg roll was salty and it had dark brown vegetables it was the worst, the sweet and sour sauce was brown and no flavor, the pork fried rice was not good . Very expensive for the amount you get. I’ve never been there before and never will. I do not recommend it to anyone

I got food here a few weeks ago and I’ve never been so disappointed and dissatisfied in my entire life. I ordered 33$ worth of awfully cooked food. Vegetables were no where near fully cooked, soup tasted like absolutely nothing, spring rolls were hard as a rock, nothing I ordered was appetizing, I threw out majority of the food. I will never eat at this place again. Pretty much turned me away from all Chinese food. Thanks for 33$ worth of garbage.
