This was my first visit. I came for the lunch buffet so that I could try different dishes. The food was very, very good. I had chicken byriyani, mint chicken, tandoori chicken, a vegetarian potato, peas in a incredible curry sauce, naan bread, etc. My server must have filled my water 8 times- friendly and attentive. As i exited the restaurant, a table with 8 ladies was eating, one woman had her fork in the air (dancing) because of how delicious the food was.

$17.00 for the meal, $5.50 tip (server was amazing) and $5 for parking. A memorable meal in downtown GR.

We had the tandoori sampler – absolutely delicious.. The garlic Naan was amazing. It was my husband’s first experience with Indian food and the staff was super helpful with explaining items and making recommendations. We ended up trying the chicken chettinadu and lamb saag…both absolutely divine. Spice levels were very conscious of our preferences. Best Indian food I’ve had in the area!

One of the best Indian dining experiences in Grand Rapids! From the complimentary papadam with tangy tamarind and mint chutneys, everything started on the right note. The kachumber salad was fresh and crisp, while the peri peri potatoes came chaat-style with chutneys, yogurt, and spices — absolutely addictive.

The star of the meal was the Lime Leaf Curry Lamb — tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with rich curry sauce and a citrusy lift from lime leaves. Paired with basmati rice and naan, it was comfort food at its best.

Every dish was vibrant, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine in the city.

Pind is a fantastic option for lunch and dinner in Grand Rapids. The staff is very respectful and helpful.

Their lunch buffet is a fantastic option, at $17/$18 (depending on the day), it is a bit pricey, but the food is simply worth it. Working across the river is very dangerous.

This is also a good spot to have dinner. We use Pind as a spot to take our friends when they come to town, and it never disappoints. They truly have an option for everyone. Butter Chicken is a classic dish for many of us Americans, and it is very good. I would like to encourage anyone reading this to branch out and try a new dish.

When I go to Pind, every time I order, I ask the staff their favorite dish and order it. This has been a great way for me to experience new foods and learn more about the things that I might have initially overlooked. Their Mango Lassi is also very good. They have a few dessert options, and I like them! Being an Indian restaurant, they have quite a few vegetarian offerings. I can’t speak on Vegan offerings, though :(.

There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant, and there is street parking on the Fulton St. Bridge.

I would recommend Pind to anyone who is interested in trying Indian food.

This is the best Indian food in Grand Rapids. Hands down my new favorite spot.

Best Butter Chicken I’ve tasted and the Chicken Chettinadu was amazing. Garlic naan also had the perfect fluff.

If you’re vegan, you have to try the Tofu Khadaiwala.

The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is squeaky clean. The atmosphere is calm, comfortable and welcoming.

You won’t be disappointed.

The food and service here is amazing! I came back after 2 months and they welcomed me back – that doesn’t happen very often. I’ve been here twice during my two weeks here for work and I continue to be impressed with the quality of the food and the personalized service. My drink was also very delicious and refreshing. Eat here – you will not be disappointed!

TLDR: I’ve visited this restaurant a few times and have always had a good experience. Overall I feel like it has a convenient location, however parking, especially in the winter can be a bummer. They have a paid lot and I believe I paid $7 the last time I visited to park. Otherwise you will have to find street parking which is not readily available at this location. The food is very good, and the ambience is nice too. Prices are a bit higher than comparable Indian restaurants in the area, but the ambience is nicer.

I almost always get the same thing wherever I get Indian food, because I always crave it. Even though I was tempted by several of the MANY dishes on this menu, I once again ordered the PANEER MAKHNI (homemade cheese cubes in an aromatic makhni sauce) which was delicious as expected. I ordered a side of Garlic naan bread, as well as rice.

My friend ordered the PALAK PANEER (cubes of mild Indian cheese prepared in a special creamed spinach). We actually split our meals and shared. The dish was tasty, but I love my regular choice, so I’ll say I prefer that one.

My other friend ordered the BUTTER CHICKEN (tandoori chicken and onion in an aromatic tomato based makhni sauce finished with fresh ground spices and cream) – I believe all three of us tend to order the same thing each time we go, but we each really enjoy what we order. He very much enjoyed his chicken!

One thing I love about Indian restaurants in general is how many available dishes there are for vegetarians. Pind has a vegetarian column of 17 dishes on the menu.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed eating here but dislike the parking situation- but that’s not Pind’s fault!

I look forward to eating at Pind every time I visit Grand Rapids Downtown. I really do believe they serve the best Northern Indian food I have had in America.
I had dinner at Pind every night for 4 days during my latest visit and loved it.

• The restaurant is clean and well-appointed
• The staff are polite and attentive
• They offer a good range of well-made cocktails

The food will keep you coming back, and if you are a chili head, just ask for a side of pepper. Keep up the high standards.
Visit often and get to know these guys.

Cheers!

Great place for Indian food in the area. Me and my friends stopped for dinner while driving by. Our group tried both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Clearly the non vegetarian dishes were better than the vegetarian dishes. Veg dishes were average at best. Spice levels were on point and customizable at the time of placing the order which is great. The service was good and the restaurant also has good amount of seating with everything neat and well laid out and was a pleasant experience overall. However for the breads we ordered( garlic naan etc) while still tasty, all of it reached us cold and hard- possibly was made sooner than the curries and is something that can be improved with attention to detail. Overall would recommend only for the non vegetarian dishes and hence the four stars.
