Fresh is everything to a seafood restaurant, especially ours, and we try our best to deliver fresh seafood to your table each and every visit. Local fishermen and crabbers leave our shores daily and guide their boats out into the Gulf of Mexico to fish on behalf of Pinchers. They return each night with the best that the Gulf has to offer. They bring this precious catch to us and are one of the primary reasons for our success. In 2007, we purchased the Island Crab Company on Pine Island to serve as a fresh seafood facility for our restaurants. This place is awesome! Everything is very clean and the food is super fresh! I had broiled scallops, and they were delicious! Perfectly done! The other photos are the Mahi Mahi and the conch fritters. Everything was cooked to perfection! We had the gator bites too, but they disappeared before I could get any photos! Super good! The food didn’t take long at all after ordering. The staff are all very friendly and actually tell you valid information about their dishes, which was very helpful in deciding what to choose! Also, they have stone crab here when it’s in season, so I’ll be coming back to have some, and I’ll give an update! Side Note: I have tried crab in several different restaurants, every time I never liked it. When I came here for the first time last year, I tried the snow crab and it’s the only time I ever had crab and liked it. This is definitely the place to go for a seafood experience!

Wanted seafood. But didn’t want anything fancy. Found pinchers and thought I’d try it. It was great. Got the Shrimp meal and added fries and green beans.
The grilled shrimp was seasoned well, fresh, juicy and great texture.
LOVED the hand cut fries. Super! And even the green beans, steamed and complemented with butter and garlic was so good. No after thoughts on the side.

I was seated rather quickly but took a while for a server. I ordered stuffed grouper. It wasn’t stuffed (layed on top) nor was it grouper. It was the same white fish others like to pass off as grouper. The gumbo was fantastic however. I do like the atmosphere. Came early to beat the crowd. Sadly disappointed

Great dinner! Our party of 8 had a variety of dishes this evening and it was all fabulous! Fresh snapper and grouper, shrimp scampi pasta, crab cakes, and crab corn chowder were our favorites. We are very picky about our seafood, and were so impressed.

I’m from Rochester, New York, and every time I visit my parents in Fort Myers (they’ve been snowbirds here for over a decade), Pinchers is always a must! The food is consistently exceptional, the prices are great, and you can’t beat the daily 2-for-1 deals. It’s conveniently attached to Tin City, which makes for some fun shopping before or after your meal. Best of all, it’s right on the water—on several visits I’ve even seen dolphins swimming by. Truly the perfect spot for lunch or dinner!

Our waitress, Holly, was an absolute standout – she was incredibly kind, attentive, and kept us well-informed throughout our visit, even when things got a bit busy. She kept our drinks filled and would check on us, updating us on our order. We did wait over 40 minutes for our food, however, it was lunch time rush at 12:30, but it was absolutely worth it once it arrived. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Amazingly fast with the food, excellently cooked shrimp and large portions for the price. Great bar area, reminds me a bit of Marco Island. Very relaxed and great crowd. Service was the best I’ve had in quite a while, Jacob was on spot with everything! I HIGHLY recommend this place to family’s and anyone who loves seafood. If you followed me over the last 2 yrs, think this is the first time I’ve ever given 5 stars across the board.
