My boyfriend and I frequently come to this food cart and it had been consistently good until today. We bought a mango lassi, garlic naan and the chicken tikka masala.
At first the mango lassi looked normal, but when we went to try it, it was meaty flavored? and not like mango at all. We told him and he offered to remake it. It tasted better after that, but still the inti taste stayed with us.
And then we got our main food, the tikka masala. It had a layer of unmixed cream on the top, which didn’t look particularly appetizing because it was greyish. I was still expecting the food to be the same. Come to find out that it’s too salty and has almost no spice flavor that it usually has. Still we kept eating. Soon, my boyfriend ate a piece of chicken that was not cooked fully. Unfortunate. Though in the picture it ma looked fully cooked, you could tell by the rubbery texture it was not.
Garlic naan was good, kind of plain no complaints.
We spent $27 dollars. Please consider this and spend your money on another Indian cuisine
place.

This place has decent Indian food. I had the Paneer Butter Masala with a Lachcha Paratha. I liked the food. Though I’ve had better Paneer Butter masala elsewhere in the Greater Portland area, their portion size was good and the entree was tasty. Lachcha Paratha was very good; fresh and delicious. The ambience here is very nice to sit and eat when in Hillsboro. Service too was good; friendly staff and fairly quick service. I’d love to go back here and try some of their other stuff.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. Biryani with lamb is so flavorful and the garlic naan is just perfect. Medium hot spice level is the right amount of heat. The portions are huge. Price point is so much better than most restaurants. The quality of food is superb. I definitely would recommend.

We went today to try pinch of spice. We were a bit disappointed and surprised by how expensive it was.
The lamb rogan josh was tasty and the paneer skewers were good, you could tell it was re warmed food though.
The naan and pakora were really not good. Pakora was very obviously rewarded as it was not crisp at all…very chewy and the naan was chewy as if it had been microwaved.
The portions were good, lots of rice too. The chai was good. It tiny little 8 oz cups for $7 each. Wow. It was ok but not $50 ok. We will stick to the Indian place at foodlandia.

Absolutely delicious food with generous portion sizes and kind employees! I ordered the Dal Tadka and the Garlic Naan, and was blown away by the flavor- I’ve had Dal many times, but never has it been this good! The Naan was soft and perfectly flavorful without being too overpowering. I’ve eaten the leftovers for both meals today, and I’m already dreading the moment when I run out. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their delicious meals!

Awesome Indian cuisine- seems they have perfected the right mix of local and catering to the western taste. Their Butter Chicken is the best !!! Garlic Naan is a can’t miss. Host is accommodating and it shows that they love what they do. Love to support small business!!!!
Tapped them for some catering and had awesome dishes come out – so thankful for the good meal.

Very friendly staff made excellent food in exactly the promised time. Weird pricing but it looks like there is a cash discount so enquire when ordering.
With the pakoras the mint sauce has a little yogurt tang and the tamarind option was dark with a thick mass at the bottom. Very tangy and delightful.
Garlic naan was crisp, garlic covered, and a good value. Dal was unusual for me with some shredded ginger inside but I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Love love love this place. Pinch of Spice has and will always be my go-to cart when I go to Hillsboro Downtown Station, I always mentally say I’m going to get something at a different cart but I always go to what I know. Their food always hits the spot and I usually come home with leftovers for later. I cant recommend them enough!

I ordered garlic naan bread and I asked for sauce only. It was the best garlic naan I have ever tasted. Thank you for your excellent service and delicious food.

Phenomenal food! We absolutely loved the butter chicken and cheese naan. The cheese naan reminded us of a Mexican cheese quesadilla and it was amazing. The crew working were really friendly too!
